I enjoyed my layover in Belgrade airport. It’s not as crowded as I expected and as someone with anxiety I appreciated it. There are a few very nice cafes (the one near duty free is small but very popular considering a waiting line - the baristas and employees were very nice and very handsome guys ☺️).
There’s not a lot coffee shops, but I did enjoy a cup of coffee and camomile tea. The baristas, once again, were very lovely and smiled when I tried to speak “broken” Serbian. It’s a small thing but they were very friendly.
A lot of sitting places, if you have a night layover it’s almost empty and quiet. Good WiFi but it doesn’t work properly in some corners, not a very stable connection but it’s fixed once you find a spot.
Small but good duty free.
Overall I had a good time waiting for a flight to Moscow. The vibe was very welcoming, and the staff was amazing. The Air Serbia crew (SVO-TIV/TIV-SVO) was so sweet, I have slight air phobia but I felt safe during all the flights.
Хвала на свему!
Great airport! Belgrade Nikola Tesla Airport exceeded all expectations. Right from the entrance, you feel a cozy and welcoming atmosphere. Spacious and clean halls, clear signage — everything is designed to make moving around the airport convenient and quick. The staff is incredibly friendly and always ready to help with any questions. There are plenty of cafes and shops for every taste, making it easy to pass the time while waiting for your flight. A nice bonus is the free Wi-Fi and comfortable seating areas. Overall, a fantastic experience and positive impressions from my time at the airport. I would happily come back here again!
If there is no system down every little, would be 5 stars.. official parking in front of terminals is very expensive (approximately 3.5€/hour) but good alternative exist.. some parts of the airport are under the reconstruction but building looks nice, it's pretty good organised
