Zoo on the mountain, up, down, uncomfortable to walk. The most terrible thing is that animals are fed whole hamsters or mice and predators tear them in front of small children. This is very bad. The ticket is inexpensive, 600 dinars. The choice of animals is average.
4 stars only because of the unrealistically strong smell at the bottom. Even in the city itself, it stinks like the wind is blowing in the wrong direction.
But the goats are the cutest and they can be fed on their own, it's just super fun for children.
Although I am not a fan of keeping animals in captivity, the Belgrade Zoo is nice and cozy. And there is an alligator living in it, which is almost 100 years old
A very pleasant zoo, small, but there are quite a lot of animals, the conditions for them are good, although it is clear that ideally all animals should live in the wild. There are hippos, penguins, tigers, giraffes, many birds and other animals.
A very decent zoo. A wide variety of animals and, in most cases, aviaries convenient for them.
The first distinctive feature of this zoo is that the animals are very close to the visitor. You can be half a meter away from a lion, a wolf, a capricorn or a vulture.
Secondly, the zoo is cunningly arranged: it occupies a very small area, but the cascades of aviaries provide a very long route. I've seen zoos 5 times bigger with a smaller route. Well done!
I recommend counting on 4 hours if there are no children.
I walk past to work, every morning wolves and roosters greet me with a voice)

It was in early March 2020, on a weekday. There weren't many people, it was a little chilly.
The zoo is very nice. Compact, but there are a lot of animals. Some animals are almost at arm's length. A peacock and a pair of roosters and chickens roamed freely around the territory)) Llamas pose nicely. Hippos are impressive in size. There is a terrarium.
I walked for almost half a day.
