I was picking up a car from the USA in transit through Georgia. It was the first time. At 10:30, I took a ticket in the electronic queue and went to the 25 window. They gave me the documents there and sent them to the declarant in the next window. The declarant told me to go to the parking lot and take a photo of the car from 4 sides and the VIN number on the body. I went to the checkpoint and issued a pass in just a minute. I quickly found the car, examined it, took the necessary photos and sent them to the declarant by e-mail. I went back to the declarant, where she wrote out all the necessary invoices for payment. In 10 minutes, I filled out the documents and paid all the bills through ERIP. The payment receipts were also sent to the declarant by e-mail, after which they began to prepare documents for customs. At 5:30 p.m., they called and told me to pick up the documents. The next day I arrived, took the documents from my declarant and went to issue a pass to the checkpoint in room 3. Among the disadvantages, I can highlight the fact that if you are here for the first time, then you will not be able to find a declarant and issue it quickly. You need to arrive either at the opening itself, or sit in line (in my case 1.5 hours).
The place is terrible, the staff is only interested in how to heat up the client for money, time and nerves. They submitted documents for customs clearance, immediately paid for everything, said to wait 4-5 hours, then they fed breakfast, saying that the customs queue does not have time. Then, allegedly, the price does not converge, they found statistics on the left site where the price is higher according to the calculations of the site itself. They require you to show your personal account on the auction site. And this is impossible because the account was blocked due to sanctions. They showed a screenshot - they don't accept Photoshop. The head of customs does not care, either pay at our price or..... 2 weeks of time spent, weekends at your own expense, taxi, pay for parking, customs clearance at their prices out of your head. The service is disgusting, the staff is terrible. They know about the whole situation in this topic and continue to brazenly rob their own people. Everything will come back like a boomerang.
