A must-read. I ask you to draw the attention of the park administration and the management of this institution to the behavior of the guard and waiters.
I warn all tourists (especially non-Lithuanians) of the park's guests about a new method of deception.
20.05 I visited the park with my fiancee. We took a photo shoot on the territory of the park and several photographs were taken by the photographer on the territory of this institution (at a table near the gazebo). Before filming, the photographer asked for the waiter's permission.
When we got into the car in the parking lot of the park, a man came up to us and informed us that he was a park guard (as it turned out later, he had nothing to do with the park and had no right to prohibit parking visitors from leaving it) and informed us that filming in the park costs 50 euros, this amount can be pay him personally or at the checkout. I agreed with his arguments, but before paying, I asked him to write me a check for the service provided and show me the price list.
For some reason, this man took me and my fiancee not to the park administration, but to the cashier of this "institution".
The man who introduced himself to me as the owner of the establishment swore obscenities and his saliva flew into my fiancee's face.
Our request to provide a price list or any message that the photo shoot costs 50 euros was ignored.
They brought us a check for 50 euros, where it was indicated that the check was issued for ordering a table for 0 people. The check was written in Lithuanian, of course, and if my fiancee had not translated this deception, I would have paid for it.
After our arguments that we did not order the table from them, that we wanted to call the police, we were released.
Never go there again in my life.
I admit the desire of the guards of the institution to earn money from photographs of these beautiful places, but it's one thing to offer a visitor to buy a drink or food first, warn him, and another, so brazenly and deliberately deceiving, try to earn 50 euros, especially under the guise of renting a table for 0 people.
We held a wedding photo shoot in the park and trying to deceive a person, yelling at him and swearing on this day is the height of human arrogance.
I hope the management of the institution will take action against the employees.
PS A year ago I visited this place and tried the food. I can't say anything bad about her, I liked the Zeppelins.
If it were not for the case of 20.05, I would not have given a bad rating to the institution.
A large recreation complex with various surroundings. Traditional Lithuanian dishes are cooked deliciously. Especially order zeppelins. The prices are reasonable. There is no menu in Russian. There is free parking. There is a hiking trail on the territory of the complex, you can walk, breathe fresh air and take beautiful photos. It's a good place to spend a day off. I recommend.
