The hotel is located in the best area of Istanbul. All the sights are nearby, there is a transport interchange to all parts of the city, there are no steep ascents, and this is a huge plus. The transfer took us to the next street, but a representative from the hotel was already waiting for us and helped us move all our things to the hotel. The room is small, but everything is there, the mattresses are very comfortable, there is a safe, towels are changed every day, a bottle of water per person, coffee, tea, cream are delivered. Cleaning is daily, the room is exactly the same as in the photo, the tram did not bother us personally at all. The only negative is breakfast, it does not change from the word at all. Every day, boiled egg, omelette, fried sausages, French fries and onion rings. There are several types of cheese, sausage, but its appearance is terrifying, so it was not tasted. All kinds of cereals, jam, honey, olives, olives, some kind of cupcakes. Fruits include tangerines, apples and plums.
I liked the hotel. The rooms are not large, but quite comfortable. Cleaning every day. Towels are changed every day, bed linen every other day. I would like to have more varied breakfasts. The location of the hotel is very convenient. There is a T1 tram stop nearby, which allows you to get anywhere. There is also a beautiful park nearby. Within walking distance of the Sofia Temple, the Blue Mosque, the Suleimani Mosque, the Spice Market and others, others. We are satisfied with the hotel and the service. We will probably stop here next time we arrive.
Nice hotel in the historical part of Istanbul. Conveniently located - within walking distance of the main attractions: Hagia Sophia, Sultanahmet Mosque, Galata Bridge, Basilica Cistern...
50 meters away is the Gulhane stop of the popular tram route T1
Location - fire. You can get to the park in just 2 minutes, near the tram, metro and embankment. Underfloor heating in the room. Responsive staff. Please note that the car with the transfer will not be able to stop on this street and you will have to walk with a suitcase.
The breakfast is of the same type. Considering that there is a good cafe in the same hotel, it could be better.
The rooms are small. There is a hammam downstairs, so the whole building is saturated with the smell of a hammam. It was a little stuffy for me in the early days.
The hammam, by the way, is a small electric one. 2 people are a little cramped there.
In general, if you walk around Istanbul all day and only spend the night here, taking into account the location, it is normal. But not the best
The location of the hotel is excellent, all the sights of the Fatih area are within walking distance.
Many people write in reviews about the noisy tram - in fact, it is not so noisy, it did not bother us at all, although we lived on the second floor. And he doesn't walk at night either.
But there was another problem - there was practically no sound insulation with the corridor, so talking and slamming doors, especially at night, caused some inconvenience.
Breakfast is quite monotonous and modest, but on the whole it is normal and satisfying.
Everything is fine with the staff, they settled us even before the check-in time. There are also Russian-speaking employees for whom this is important.
Our room was a triple room, not particularly spacious, but clean and very comfortable for three, all have full beds. And we were only in the room for the night, otherwise it makes sense to go to Istanbul)
Friendly staff. Great location. Good breakfasts, great restaurant. Within walking distance from the main attractions. There is a tram stop (2 min.) and a train station (1 tram stop, 10 min. walk) with a metro line going to the European part of Istanbul. Port with ferries (2 tram stops, 15 min walk). It's not the first time I've stayed at this hotel. I am very satisfied
I put 5 only for the hospitality, excellent attitude to children. The rooms are quite old, the furniture, the bathroom needs to be updated for a long time, but they clean well every day. Very boring breakfasts. It is difficult for a child to find something to eat. It's the same thing every day. It also often ends, you need to wait until they bring it. There are no fruits at all, which is strange for Turkey. Here the location is gorgeous, this is a separate huge plus.
Everything is fine, starting with the location, ending with the rooms. The staff is very polite, it is worth noting the cleanliness, I recommend it to everyone
A small, authentic hotel in the heart of Istanbul, close to iconic landmarks. A cozy, clean room, although the shower was leaking, but we got used to it))good breakfast, good location. In general, we were satisfied!
Cons: very noisy, not a variety of breakfasts, the cleaner hides things, the rooms are small. Advantages: location (located in the historical part of the city).
The location is great. Manager Irfan is super, always ready to help in everything.
The hotel itself is battered and worn. The linen and towels are clean, but they have already served their time.
Breakfast - everything you need is there, but no frills. The rooms are not cleaned much.
The hotel is positioned as a non-smoking hotel. Nevertheless, there is a smell of smoking everywhere and always: in the lobby, in the restaurant, in the elevator and on the stairs, in the rooms and even in the bathrooms. The smell is very strong, and it's not just smokiness, but tobacco smoke itself (there are smoke detectors in the rooms, but they are disabled). The smell comes from the ventilation, and there is no way to get rid of it: open windows or a hood do not help.
The choice of food for breakfast is extremely poor, but this is typical for all hotels in Istanbul.
Music is constantly playing loudly under the windows, it's hard to fall asleep (and don't forget about smoking). The floors are small – 4 rooms each, so when the elevator arrives on the floor, the whole floor wakes up from the bell (why not turn off this sound is not clear).
The condition of the room is acceptable, cleaning is daily and at a very good level. But this is the only good thing here.
A small and cozy hotel in the center of the old town. Near the metro station, shops, cafes and restaurants of Turkish and European cuisine. The rooms were cleaned every day, everything was clean, there was nothing to complain about. Excellent breakfasts. There is also an omelet, porridge, juices, tea, coffee and a traditional Turkish set of vegetables, sweets, sausages. All the sights are within easy reach. The staff is polite and attentive. I would go there again.
I really liked the hotel, the wonderful staff. It is not far from the main attractions at all
