Bibi is my favorite. There is a legend that this is a monument to the love of the eastern ruler for his beautiful wife. The turquoise dome is incredibly beautiful and has no equal in size. The name sounds like "the eldest wife". The mosque is named after Timur's beloved wife (Tamerlane), opposite the mosque across the street is her mausoleum (14th century), where her mother and three maids are buried. The mosque is currently undergoing renovation, so I hope it will appear in all its beauty very soon. In the center of the 1.3-hectare courtyard, a large ancient Koran lies on a stone stand behind glass.
