The L.N.Tolstoy Library at 18 Moskovskaya Street is a very quiet, cozy and comfortable library. Here you can view and order any literature on any subject. You can work on the computer, etc. In general, a good and convenient library. Nearby is the Institute of Culture, the Academy of Management under the President of the Republic of Belarus. There are many students studying. Near the metro station "Institute of Culture".
I love and have been visiting the library named after 1 for a long time.Leo Tolstoy on Moskovskaya Street. A wonderful team of librarians, professionals in their field, I mean those who have been working for a long time. They know everything by heart, they help in the selection of literature. A good school for young employees. I like both the literature on the subscription and in the reading room. Thank you from the bottom of my heart!
I went a couple of times, I really like it, there is a large selection, I was especially surprised by the rack with art and historical literature. The librarian is very polite, nice to talk to.
A very good library. There are almost no queues, they serve you quickly. There have been new shipments of books recently. Some books were not found for me, but this is not critical :) But I found other interesting literature for myself.
The worst reading room, some guy apparently acting as the head here, eats right in the reading room, not even paying attention to others, who of the workers constantly talks to each other, interfering with readers, which is interesting, this guy didn't even let me go to the toilet just like that, apparently I was in clothes and he thought that I someone from the passers-by, there is no manners from the word "at all", I do not recommend it, it is better to sit somewhere on the street
This is a very old library! It was bigger about 30 years ago.But still books for every taste. But what is interesting: women over 55 in the department of "Romance novels", Men over 55 in detectives. The average age is in fiction. Up to 20 years old - only the school curriculum. But this is temporary. Everything is coming back. A wonderful library. And you can talk to librarians about anything from sausage prices to covid. Thanks!
