I definitely recommend it. The tallest wooden building in Europe. To finally be enchanted by Istanbul, take a ferry to the Princes' Islands. There were 10 of them in total. One went under water due to an earthquake, of the 9 remaining 4 can be visited and there is another private one. You can only dock at it on a private yacht and then disembark and go for a walk, we did not have a private yacht and we went to the largest Buyukada
The islands are named after royalty, and during conflicts between members of ruling families, princes were sent away from court. The Prince's Islands, including Buyukada, became their haven and place of imprisonment.
Motor transport is prohibited here. Electricity is used.
A truly mysterious place. On one of the hills of Prince Island, near the city of Istanbul, stands a wooden mansion - the Greek orphanage of Prinkipo. To date, the mansion is half-abandoned, destroyed by nature itself. The Greek orphanage is included in the list of cultural sites, and no work is underway to preserve or restore this architectural monument. Being here you experience mixed feelings, the silence and emptiness of this place are absolutely fascinating. I recommend you to visit. Thank you for your time.
