If they had at least mowed around the fortress and slightly finished and restored it, it would have been cool. While the walls are still standing, there is something to see.
A significant landmark, it's a pity that it's running, so at your own risk, because the floor has collapsed in places, part of the wall has collapsed, etc.
It is an amazing place, and the lack of protection of this historical monument and some kind of protection is also surprising, so it will not last long. There are not many such old [early 19th century] preserved places in the country. Pay attention to this if you are from the administration or any structures that influence the situation.
I looked at the ruins of the fortress only partially. Access to them is difficult in summer due to the high grass thickets. And you can walk safely through the territory where Soviet military units used to be stationed
I don't know what happened here before, but we, as lovers of such non-reconstructed places, rated the fortress a solid five out of five. I would really like it not to be restored, but preserved. The place is mysterious, with an interesting, mysterious, long and sad history. I really liked it here!
Not bad. The most interesting thing is the horse show. I recommend watching it. You can ride a horse after the show. My child left very happy and happy.
It is a pity that no one is engaged in restoration. There is not even a dating.
And the main question is when and under what circumstances was she buried?
It's a very interesting place. But the authorities of the Republic of Belarus neglected to take care of him. Old buildings were turned into garbage dumps. A sad sight:(
An interesting place and the location is not bad, but completely abandoned. Looking at the map, I expected to see a fenced-off part of the city, with access to the river, but the reality turned out to be the opposite.
Finally, I realized my desire to visit Bobruisk. Of course, the mention in a well-known publication played a role. My friend, who lives in Bobruisk, in response to my question about the fortress, said: what is there to see, ruins. But I will say, although the ruins still look impressive. A picturesque historical place. I would like to mow the grass around, on the other hand, it's even more mystical. Like it.
The fortress is in terrible condition, everything is overgrown with grass, traces of homeless people and a lot of garbage. It was possible to create a steep point of attraction for tourists, but in fact a disregard for the history of the people. The remnants of the prisoner of war camp receive more attention than the fortress itself.

The remains of a military citadel, which are more than 200 years old, are scattered over a vast territory. Unfortunately, there are few of them and in a deplorable state. It's worth a look.
