It's a great place! Whoever visits Turkey, be sure to visit this fortress! She, like a passing Pennant, was under different flags. The only disadvantage is that not all compositions are open (probably under restoration). Marble sculptures are generally a miracle. You won't regret it!

A must-visit in Bodrum. Not just a beautiful point, but a good archaeological museum. There are architectural finds from different eras that are interesting to consider.

A stunning fortress museum for 120 lire. You can't walk around inside, you can go inside everywhere, look at various ancient finds, everything is included in the price. Wonderful views of the city from above. I REALLY liked it, it's definitely worth the money

For two, they gave 240 lire for admission. A beautiful place, the view of the city from above is amazing. Peacocks and turtles move freely on the territory. I recommend visiting before the onset of heat in the morning or in the evening.

After visiting this fortress, there are many impressions left! Beautiful and powerful walls, an endless number of archaeological finds. The surprise was the peacocks, who walked freely around the fortress. I even saw a turtle! I advise everyone to visit this wonderful place in Bodrum!

It was October 2, 2020. We arrived at about 17.50, stayed until closing at 19. We just caught the sunset. Of interest: peacocks freely walk around the territory, there is a good view of Bodrum. In the distance, famous mills can be seen on the mountain. There are indoor expositions. There are a lot of amphorae. I recommend it to lovers of fortresses, if you don't mind 65 lira for 1 ticket (multiply by 10 to convert to rubles). You can pay with a card.
