This is the fourth time in Bukhara in the last 2 years. It's January 2025.
When we walk in the Arch area, sometimes we go to this tea house for lunch or dinner. We got there and found out about this tea house - by chance, while walking.
What attracts you to this tea house? Always a delicious barbecue. The portions are decent. We also ate chicken, beef, mutton, chopped lula. The meat is always fresh, soft, and a good portion of pickled onions is always served. Yes, once they brought a bony beef kebab, it was impossible to eat. But by telling the boss about it, the situation was fixed. Indeed, the waiters are lazy and there is no service as such, fans pretend that they do not understand Russian (when it is convenient for them), fans charge more for the service and round up the amount, although the menu indicates 5%. If you ask a question on this topic, there are always a hundred answers. And 30% of the dishes from the list are always available from the menu. Delicious soups, salads, lagman, but the pilaf was brought twice overcooked, overcooked, there are few carrots and meat, there are no national spices. It's not always clean in this teahouse.
Not bad. The beef kebab is sooo delicious, tender. The portions are large. Of the disadvantages, the toilet is paid, some restaurant visitors are allowed to use the toilets for free by a female employee, some only for money. By what principle it is unclear.
Generally satisfactory. The prices are standard, the cuisine, in the sense of the dish, is generally edible, the service is conditionally acceptable. The staff should pay attention to the cleanliness of the tables and not bring tea to the guests in a teapot with a broken spout...
Every Friday after Friday prayer, I visit this cafe with friends, especially in summer, a cool place where you can sit in the shade and chat for a drink to quench your thirst. Manti, pilaf, and lagman are well prepared.
Advantageous location of the place. We arrived by taxi to the center - and here is a restaurant. Among the visitors were local residents. This, of course, bribed. The place is nice, but the kitchen is so-so. Lamb shish kebab (lumpy) is bony and unroasted. Pilaf is not very tasty and a small portion. There are only pictures on the menu without prices and names of dishes. The waiter comes up with the prices himself. Once again, of course, I will not go here and I will not advise a friend.
Beauty is something to see. Very ancient architecture can be viewed by Nasriddin afandiy. Mosque .havuz.when I come home to Bukhara from Russia, I will definitely visit there.
The view is good, the advantages end there. Cafe employees loudly invite visitors, it is annoying and repulsive, but we went in. The menu is priceless, it is unpleasant to touch it, very dirty, as are the tables.
In lagman, the meat was simply inedible, chunks of fat. Shish kebab from chicken is barely fried pieces of dry breast, it looks least like a shish kebab. The side dish to it is a mountain of raw onions.
The only place in Uzbekistan where we didn't like it.
An interesting place. I wouldn't call it a tourist destination. Many local people also eat here.
Alcohol is not served. A decent barbecue. Excellent, straight excellent samsa, for my taste 5+, especially if you go in the morning so that it is not warmed, but directly from the oven. Fried lagman +/- as everywhere.
There is a paid toilet around the corner, a washbasin on the street, from a jug, in Uzbek)))
10% is added for the so-called "service".
4 I bet for the absence of any alcohol.
Delicious and inexpensive) Good location with a very beautiful view. They write about poor service, I've been there a couple of times. In the evening, when there were practically no people, the service was really unsightly, but on the whole it was not bad. The second time was in the afternoon and everything was fast and clear
ps I liked Lagman soup very much, but it is spicy, people who like it may not like it
We accepted the order very quickly, and later calculated it, friendly staff, delicious lagman, pea soup, reasonable prices, I definitely recommend visiting!
A wonderful place! Shish kebab and samsa are very tasty! Achuchuk is very tasty, but a lot of pepper, the taste of the dish does not spoil, but you need to take this into account when ordering! Very nice prices, a teapot of tea 2000 soums, shish kebab beef 4 skewers 70,000 soums. I definitely recommend it, it's much more expensive in other places! It was April 22, 2023.
Just a good location.
But I do not recommend tourists. It's better to go somewhere else.
The food is not very tasty.
Service ZERO. There was no menu. The bill was said verbally by counting on a calculator. The interior is the same zero. Hosts, think about it, you spoil the status of Uzbek cuisine👎
Not even a third of the menu was available . The waiter showed with all her appearance that we were not expected here. At the same time, the hall was almost empty. I don't recommend it to anyone
Only one thing - a cool location with a view of the fortress. It is better to go in the daytime, because it is dark in the evening, there is no lighting.
We go there as if to our home, everything is delicious, fast, not expensive, the staff is hospitable, the location is excellent. The tea is especially delicious.
We ate twice, delicious national food, the portions are large enough, but not too much, the man will eat salad and the second. There is no alcohol. The average check for two for pilaf, lagman, salad and tea is 85,000. Cafes are noticeably cheaper than pretentious restaurants nearby. I recommend the cafe.
Horror. I do not recommend it in any case.
Service, food, assortment, cleanliness. Everything is below the baseboard.

The prices are like in a restaurant, while the menu selection is very small. The interior is so-so, only the location, that's why everyone goes there.
It's not worth it, I don't recommend this pesto. It's better to walk for a couple of minutes and choose another place to eat.
Disgusting service, the menu was brought 10 minutes later, the order was accepted 10 minutes later, and then after five requests. In the middle of taking an order, the waiter sees that someone has prepared food at another table, throws everything and runs to carry it. We ask what to eat without meat - the answer is nothing. Then it turns out that there are salads and samsa with potatoes. It was not possible to find out what a French salad is, they ordered it at random. No quality of food is worth putting up with such service
the cuisine is very strange, the pilaf is greasy, not tasty, boiled. fries do not look like fries - ordinary potatoes! even ketchup was not put just tomatoes ... samsa is also made of shawarma dough, sour compote, WE DO NOT RECOMMEND IT!
The pilaf is a bit fatty and there is not much meat in it. I remembered the joke that pilaf is not a dish with meat, but a dish with rice. There are a lot of locals in the evening. Maybe we came in at the wrong time?
