A few years ago, I decided to use Boxie24’s storage and moving services when they first expanded into Florida. At the time, they had a different management team, and everything seemed promising. What I expected to be a simple and reliable solution ended up becoming a long-term ordeal that I wish I could forget.
After storing my belongings with them for several years, I recently had my items returned. Unfortunately, what I received was nothing like what I had sent to storage. My sofa came back with peeling fabric and an unsightly dark stain that couldn’t be cleaned, possibly caused by moisture despite the supposed climate-controlled environment. Cables for my reclining sectional were missing, my bed and mattress had mysterious orange stains, and to top it off, the movers damaged my wall while bringing the sofa into my home.
Boxie24 initially admitted that the damage was due to improper wrapping on their end. However, they then tried to shift the blame onto me, claiming that the items weren’t packed according to their guidelines—even though they were the ones who had packed everything! Despite showing them the original agreement that clearly outlined their responsibility for careful packing and handling, they claimed to have no record of it and suggested I was trying to manipulate the situation.
Reflecting on this experience, I deeply regret trusting Boxie24 with my belongings. What should have been a stress-free solution turned into a frustrating nightmare. I’ve documented the condition of my items, and after their refusal to make things right, I’ve had to escalate the issue to the appropriate authorities. No one should have to endure this kind of treatment after placing their trust in a company.
