Excellent location, good rooms in terms of price /quality (for autumn 2024), friendly staff. But the breakfasts are weak, even in simpler hotels in Uzbekistan, the breakfast table is often better served, but here there are sandwiches and very few fruits...
A cozy-looking small hotel, 3 floors, single rooms are tiny but clean. On the 1st floor there is quite a nice restaurant with a good menu.... How sad it is that all this is losing its appeal due to poor management! However, the good news is... what to be annoyed about, you can manage yourself! I share my experience…
1. Check-in at the hotel from 12 o'clock, which is very convenient for those arriving by train at 11.07. BUT: if you want to check in on time, send a letter to the hotel the day before, informing that you will arrive at 11.30. In response, you will be pleasantly informed that your room will be prepared first, although the hotel is packed. When you arrive, you will find out that everything will be fine in 10 minutes, and after another 40 minutes it will happen - voila, by 12.30 you are in the room!
2. Payment: accept any currency except rubles. BUT: if you want a documentary proof of payment - any, just so that you do not request payment again, be patient! At the first sign of a delay in time, immediately give the young man at the reception the instruction "call the manager". After that, you will explain to the manager what you need, you will be asked to wait until tomorrow, in response you will bargain about today, but without official checks, and literally in 20-30 minutes you will be free. Otherwise, the young man will hide from you behind the monitor for an hour, hoping that you will "resolve" by yourself
3. Breakfast from 8 to 10: the assortment is small, but there are cold snacks, hot dishes, fruits, tea, coffee. Come at 8 and you will have everything. BUT: if you are late before 9.00.... Firstly, breakfast is served by yesterday's young man from the reception. So get ready. One instruction at a time!!, otherwise you won't have time to close. Don't leave his side, remember, he knows how to hide! Tea or coffee first. If there is a coffee machine, you will be offered instant🤦♀️Oops.., only the bartender knows how to use the machine, and his working day starts at 15.00. Do not ask the young man how it happened that in a year no one except the bartender mastered the unit ... you will find out that you were the first to request Americano, the rest drank what they gave. It is faster and more efficient to give instructions to call the bartender, he will tell you what to do, and you will have a chance. If the bartender does not answer, there is a coffee grinder turned on next to the coffee machine! French press is much better than instant. Now it's the turn of scrambled eggs and sausages (this is what's hot). If you request 2 in 1, it will be either one or the other. Choose for yourself, which is more important, and order it. Then repeat twice about the sausages. If you act persistently and do not leave the young man, you can get the main thing by 9.30, sit down at the table and calmly ask to warm up a pancake with cottage cheese. Do not ask for sour cream and butter, the young man will look at the table and answer that they are not there. You've seen that for yourself… And although there is certainly food in the kitchen, but morning hunger does not allow you to lead for longer than 30 minutes.
4. Rest and sleep. Samarkand is a quiet city, BUT: not in this hotel and not on a Saturday night! Do not try to go to bed at 10 o'clock, otherwise a heart attack is guaranteed! A dream broken by the roar of sudden music is still a pleasure… Don't resist! It's useless for up to 24 hours, windows, walls - everything is dancing!! And you dance... there's no alternative anyway. But then immediately!!!! sleep. After all, from about 6.30 (even on Sunday), the neighbors will start waking up, watching the sent video clips… Do you think it doesn't concern you? In vain, the walls are thin, but there is silence around… so you don't have to set an alarm)))
5. Cleaning: I can't say anything about her - the cleaner walked down the corridor, I won't lie, BUT: she didn't clean the room. So the recommendation is simple - don't get dirty!

P.S. A day later... the poor young man is still at work! To his credit, I must say that he already made coffee for breakfast himself, and well! Which once again confirms that it is not difficult to teach employees, but it would probably be better if the hotel owners did it in a timely manner, and not dissatisfied guests!
A great hotel, in the very center, but we stayed out of season. Therefore, there were interruptions with mountain water. But the friendly and caring staff brightened everything up. There are shops and a restaurant nearby. A large shopping center is 5 minutes away. I really liked everything, we will recommend it. They give out all the accessories, the rooms are cozy and clean
A good hotel, the most responsive staff who are ready to help in any situation.

Minuses.
Loud music. Especially on weekends. There is a karaoke restaurant downstairs. Sometimes up to 23, sometimes up to 2 a.m. This is the main and huge disadvantage.
The Internet is also disgusting. If you are thinking of working, do not plan. Constant breaks. 4g saved the day a bit.
The rooms are very small, but this can be seen in advance from the photo.
The guys are generally responsive. We helped with little things. Thanks to them for that.
