A good agency. They caught a cool ticket to Vietnam through them. The tour agent was in touch with us and answered any of our questions. Before buying the tour, I helped with choosing a hotel room and transfer. But it is important to take into account that the prices on the website are in dollars, and in fact the payment is in amounts. Therefore, before buying a tour, I recommend specifying in which currency the tour will eventually need to be paid in order not to change money in vain.
Quickly, clearly, we helped you choose the best flights, dates and hotel. The finished documents were quickly issued. They were polite and very friendly. I wish the guys the expansion and development of the travel agency.
Briefly
We booked the tour in advance, made an advance payment, final payment, did not receive the tour. The agent informed about the absence of the tour on the way to the airport in Shymkent. We lost part of the funds paid, lost a lot of additional funds, lost vacation days, lost rest days.
Of the mitigating circumstances, it can only be noted that the agency returned the funds for the voucher directly, but taking into account the change in the exchange rate (since prices are everywhere in the UE), there were still losses on the refund, albeit insignificant.
I had to take a new tour at the Shymkent agency. There, the agent girl said that recently online services have not been returning money and everyone is suing them, so there were concerns. She cited the possible reason that the Bronix agency took full payment and waited for the tour to be on fire in order to play on the price difference. But the tour did not burn, and they began to act on the situation.
In detail
Beginning
In a month and a half, we started looking for a tour in Side, Turkey. We contacted the online agency Bronix. Bronix offered a suitable tour, asked for an advance payment, and drew up a contract (with errors). After that, the agency asked for an additional payment to book the tour. We made an additional payment and asked to correct the contract and send a confirmation of the reservation. The agent told us not to worry, everything would be OK. A week later, we again asked for an amended contract and confirmation of the reservation. The contract was corrected, but not completely. We asked again to correct the contract and confirm the reservation. We were ignored. They asked several times, received a joint agreement again and did not receive confirmation of the reservation.
The road to Turkey lay through Shymkent (that is, through another country). Let's go there — the agent calls and says (enthusiastically for some reason): "Your tour in Side will not take place! But we picked up a tour to Egypt for you!" "We don't want to go to Egypt," we replied, to put it mildly, perplexed. Agent: "How? Why? How can you not want to go to Egypt?" (Not literally, but there was something like that.) We: "Because we wanted to go to Turkey. If we wanted to go to Egypt, we would have taken a tour to Egypt." The agent is missing. After some time, I got in touch and said: "But here the tour is more expensive and for 10 nights, against 8 to Turkey, there are hotels, take a look." We: "What was the reason for the cancellation? Where is the booking confirmation (which they never provided)?" Agent: "The reason is the cancellation of the flight. I'll look for a reservation now." We contact the airline, the airline says that the flight has not been canceled. We share this information with the agent. The agent disappeared again for a while. She returned: "Oh, you misunderstood: you were taken off the flight." We: "How could we be taken off the flight if we bought tickets, bought a hotel, the flight was not canceled? Where is the confirmation of the reservation in the end?" Our friends from the travel industry, we consulted, said that this does not happen and should not happen.
Egypt
I never wanted to go to Egypt, but many people like it. In the end, we agreed, because what else can we do? The agent starts picking up Egypt for us. He says that the tour is wonderful and even more expensive than ours. Here I would like to pay special attention to: "who is this calculation for? Someone who can't see prices on the Internet? The same as with the airline? Can't we ask the airline about the cancelled flight? Why take us for fools?" The planned tour to Turkey was more expensive. Then they, the director, said that they would compensate us for the difference in cost. But that's later, we were waiting for Egypt, in the meantime. The agent disappeared for half a day.
The agent appeared: "And I'm looking for Turkey from Tashkent for you!"
I want to write: "Curtain".
The climax
But we are already very nervous: "Which Turkey is from Tashkent?? You sent us to Shymkent!! We are in Shymkent, this is Kazakhstan! What about Egypt?? Which Tashkent, which Turkey?" Agent: "What? It's hard to hear, the connection is something..." I: "We're in SHYMKENT! Is this another country where Egypt is ours?? You sent us to Shymkent yourself! Well?!" As a result, the agent starts looking for Egypt again, but Egypt has already ended. And it immediately becomes clear why we are being offered Turkey again from another country. Because Egypt was missed. But! As a result, there is some kind of hotel in Egypt, and the agent offers it to us already from, apparently, despair. We are looking at a hotel — the hotel is bad, just noticeably bad. It's already overwhelming. We went to Kazakhstan, on the way we found out that we were not flying to Turkey, we did not receive confirmation of the reservation, we did not receive an equivalent replacement, we were dragging around Shymkent three of us with a small child, the agency does not inform us and does not discuss our plans with us. We called the director, he promised everything possible. Everything possible didn't work out, we abandoned the tour. A refund was requested. Here, the story of the development of events begins to resemble the cancellation of the flight and the cost of the tour. Here we have requested a refund. We: "When?" Director: "Today." Nothing comes, but the end of the day comes. We: "Where?" The director: "I beg your pardon, only 40 minutes ago the request came to the accounting department. Tomorrow." Tomorrow is coming. From the very beginning of the day, we do not bother, because experience tells us that it is useless. We are waiting until the evening. There is no return in the evening. As a result, we find out that we did manage to book a tour to Egypt, so we need to wait for a refund from the operator to the agency, then from the agency to us.
Why it was necessary to mislead us every time, I still do not understand?? (With the contract, with the armor, with the cancellation of the flight, with the cost of the tour, with the return dates). It gives me no pleasure to call and write several times a day and ask: "When? Where? Why?". Why not just say: the refund will be in a week or how many more?
Result
As a result, we contacted a travel agency in Shymkent, and everything was done for us there in half a day. I had to get into the funds that we planned to spend during the vacation, get into a credit card and fly from Almaty. We went to Antalya instead of Side (although nearby, but different things), for 6 nights instead of 8, to a hotel not a failure, but noticeably simpler than what it would have been initially. We spent money on hotels and moving around Kazakhstan, roaming to communicate with Bronix, food, etc. We lost 4 days of vacation.
