There are insultingly few Abkhazian, Georgian, and generally Caucasian authors. Of what there is, the lion's share are political books about relations between Georgia and Abkhazia. A few prose ones, a few poetic ones.. In general, there is a table of books. There are 30 books.
The shop is atmospheric; already from the threshold it smells like a Soviet. The sign, the bars on the windows, the old bookshelves matching the color of my T-shirt, the saleswoman with the bills.. there is not enough tea or coffee here: to drink and rustle dilapidated pages..
On the shelves, by eye, 90% of the books are Russian classical literature of the XIX–XX centuries.

There is a good selection of classics from the 19th and 20th centuries, there is practically no modern relevant literature. Soviet sets of postcards with national food, mushrooms, and sights of different cities are on sale.
