A good winter resort. Especially the Winter Snow Hotel. The staff is pleasant, helpful, and everyone speaks Russian. (they helped hide from military commissars looking for meat) Of course, not like Sheregesh, but there are also advantages, for example, the lifts that are next to the hotel. The slopes are average in steepness, there is less snow than Sheregesh, there is no puddle.

A wonderful ski resort and the place itself. Here, in winter and summer, everyone will find something to their liking. There are many trails of varying difficulty, hotels, parking lots, an open-air swimming pool. Excellent cuisine is practical in any cafe. In general, the atmosphere is like in a fairy tale, especially in winter)))
When I served in the Soviet Army in Skole Striysky district, I visited those parts - Bukovel, Tisovets (CSKA sports base), Truskovets, I liked it very much, good nature , a lot of impressions, how long ago it was.
If you miss a real winter fairy tale, then you are welcome here!!!
The atmosphere of a kind, winter, sports side of our busy life!!!
Everything changes at once, it's easier to breathe, live more cheerfully, eat tastier!!!
Even if you don't have like-minded people, upon arrival, you will definitely meet wonderful people, and immediately everything will fall into place. This is not a vacation - this is a WINTER PARADISE!!!
We skied for 2.5 days - not much, but it's enough for us! We lived in Winter Snow. Very convenient location - across the street from the 1st ski lift.
The hotel is fresh. White bed linen. No old smells. The plumbing is new. Buffet breakfasts (a good choice, even champagne!)
There is a separate room on the 1st floor for storing equipment. It's very convenient!
The Gribova Hut complex is located nearby. We were there in the restaurant - delicious, Ukrainian-style. I recommend it!
They came for the mountains and the forest. The trails are good. All the negative moments were related to the weather, when the sun turned the slopes into porridge, and in the evening into glass. But they rehabilitated everything overnight!
The lifts work without interruption. There are long queues only in those located next to residential complexes - people move to other lifts to get to the next tracks. I don't see any point in taking a VIP skipass.
We had lunch on the slopes at Filvarok - it's expensive, but delicious at home, friendly staff, clean and cozy! Borscht ~160 gn, mulled wine ~80 gn, second course ~200-300 gn.
In general, we were satisfied with the resort - everything is thought out, beautiful and atmospheric!
They were in the period February 20-23, 2020. The weather was excellent -1 -5 °C. We caught our breath, distracted from Moscow snobbery and antlers.
Thank you, Bukovel!

Everything is old Soviet and broken !
The rooms have broken beds and torn bed linen.
They feed more or less, but sooo expensive.
The service is at an extremely low level!
Great skating. There are enough slopes both in complexity and quantity. For example, after 6 full days of skiing, I didn't get bored at all. There are official sections of slopes for freeride. In the evening, a toboggan run runs on one of the slopes. Some of the slopes are illuminated and accessible for evening skiing. Skipass for the day is profitable to take on the morning action or online. I took it online - picking up the ski pass at the ticket office requires a passport and personal presence as a photo is taken with a webcam and subsequently face control is performed on the turnstiles of the lift. I.e. the ski pass is personalized. Accommodation can be chosen according to taste and budget. The only thing I recommend is to use only bottled water, because tap water with hydrogen sulfide and often provokes stomach upset.
Arriving at this winter resort in January 2019, we found ourselves in a real fairy tale. It snowed for 3 days while we were there. As for the prices, everything is really expensive in Bukovel itself. But on the so-called periphery, it's about 5-7 kilometers or more, food and ammunition are much cheaper, it's best when you go there to have your skis and clothes. The subscription for the lifts is actually cheap if you take it for a day.
A good resort ...
The staff at the homlo rental, if only they would send everyone to the mountains faster, the child says that the shoes are big, he says that he will come ☹️
Pros: Nature is great! (Like a mini Switzerland) .
Cons: the prices are unjustified, almost everywhere you need to pay in cash, the bank. the card is not accepted (foreigners come and it is impossible to pay with a card! It is far from the European level of service. There are only a few ATMs on site, there are always queues in them.)
