The most beautiful Orthodox church in Istanbul. Located in the Balat district, it looks directly at the Golden Horn embankment. From Galatsky Bridge, you can walk along the embankment or take a bus. The only Orthodox church where we were welcome! A very unusual building, completely made of metal, surprises with its exterior and interior decoration. People around you are happy to communicate and switch to Russian. Definitely worth a visit to this place on the shore of the strait.
