The most favorite place of our Brest. Since 1964. This park was formed, grew and became prettier before my eyes. From the landfill of construction debris, which was transported to raise the level, then sand was washed out of the river for a long time, and earth was transported. And how the embankment parapet was erected, how they saved all this during the 1974 flood, blocked the approaches to the river with concrete blocks so that the square would not be washed away... And then the square began to look prettier when the trees grew up, shrubs and flowers appeared. Now it's a real park. After the reconstruction of the Embankment, it became even bigger and more beautiful. I love it and I love our Brest.
