Italy is delicious, but there is a lot to grow.
Buontalenti is a nice cafe with a pleasant atmosphere. Of the advantages:
- Pizza — thin dough, good filling.
- Ice cream is fresh, with a natural taste.
- The location is a great place in the center, next to the fountain.
Minuses:
- Often all the tables are occupied
- It can be noisy on weekends.
Tip: come before 18:00 on weekdays — fewer queues and more empty tables.

We went to the cafe once this summer, just for the city day. The interior is pleasant, there are teddy bears at the tables. Convenient location in the heart of the city. When waiting for an order at an hour from neighboring establishments, everything was done quickly. We took pizza and cocktails, everything was delicious. I didn't like the ordering and delivery scheme. There are no waiters, you need to take a table, and then go to the counter where you can look at the menu and make an order. Then, as soon as the order is ready, you also need to go to the counter yourself and pick it up, that is, go back and forth several times. The toilet is free, but there is one for everyone, it is very inconvenient and creates a queue for this room. There are also tables near the toilet itself, but it is obviously uncomfortable to sit there because of the queue for the toilet. I think we'll come back here as soon as we arrive in Brest again.

Unfortunately, there are no photos, take my word for it. If you are in Brest, be sure to come and eat at this cafe. There is a very tasty pizza with Roman dough. (Soft stringy inside and crispy on top)!! We were in Brest for a day and a half and 2 times in this cafe!
I was also surprised by the wall of fresh flowers! It's like spraying each pot and it's a whole wall! And if you can sit at a table by the window, you will delight yourself with fountains, and in the evening they are illuminated!

The establishment is located in a lively place. There are a lot of kids with their parents. The magnificent fountain with backlight and various modes attracts visitors. The service is lame, the girls are slow. Although, the questions were answered convincingly and knowledgeably. The pizza was delicious, but had to wait because of the influx of visitors. Four stars is also good.

We often go despite the high price of ice cream, 70p per kg. They used to pack cups. The other day we went to a cafe, took 3 balls of ice cream, the price for ice cream is 10.5, but no one packed the container (glass). I asked the seller/bartender why they didn't pack a cup. The answer shocked me: "our cups are free, included in the price of ice cream." How's that? If they are free, then it must be packed and the payment is only for the weight of the ice cream. And now a little math: the weight of the cup is 7g, they sold it to me as ice cream at a price of 70p. A total of 49 kopecks. they took it for a "free" glass. With 100 people, 49p. A normal bonus for the institution. I would like to remind the owners that disposable containers are released free of charge if the product cannot be given simply into their hands or a package!!!! The greed of the owner is simply off the scale.

A great cafe, a huge selection of delicious ice cream. Not a bad pizza. Great mojito. The only disappointment was cocoa (perhaps it was just prepared by an inexperienced employee).
I would like to note the interior separately - it is very pleasant inside, there are a lot of fresh flowers and even phytosten. It is especially cozy here on a summer evening, when it is already dark outside the window and a wonderful fountain is playing with different colors!

We rarely visit the cafe, but very aptly, especially when we want pizza with salmon and arugula, we come again and are told that there is no arugula and the cashier offers us to replace it with basil or iceberg lettuce, but this is a completely different taste, the chef uses so much tomato paste on the basis of pizza that overlaps the taste of other ingredients that are there and there is almost no such thing, the base is burnt and the cedar nuts are also burned, there are very few fish, it is better to remove such a pizza from the menu altogether if there are no corresponding ingredients on the map. There is no desire to visit the institution again!

We ordered meat pizza, salad, French fries, homemade tea (raspberries), and dessert cheesecake snickers. What can I say. The salad is basically normal. The potatoes are almost tasteless, but there is a lot of seasoning. And the child really enjoyed pulling out the burnt potato pieces.The tea is disgusting. There is zero taste. The dessert had an incomprehensible bitterness. I thought maybe my sister was wrong, but no. He was pretty bitter. Pizza. It was a masterpiece. It's a good thing they didn't give it to the child. Because after 2 pieces, both my sister and I had to spend the whole day in the company of a faience friend. At first, everything seemed to be more or less. But then I came across a very fresh piece of chicken fillet (it was straight sour ) I thought it was the sauce at first. But nooo, it was ruined, just like our day. We're not going back there anymore.

As a tourist, I have heard a lot about this cafe. In fact, the ice cream is quite ordinary in quality, yes it is good, but not a wow effect. But the price may surprise, because the portion is by weight.
But 3 stars are not for that. And for disposable dishes! I can eat out of a cardboard cup on the street and for less money. The ice cream parlor assumes real dishes! It's part of the action, so to speak.
Unfortunately, the disappointment was so great that maybe the evaluation of the ice cream itself is not objective because of this.
