The staff is polite. The restaurant is terrible. There are no salads on the menu. And their prices, respectively. They say, tell us what kind of salad you want, we'll cook it... It's very strange. As a result, the first time the Caesar salad was without tomatoes, the second time there was no chicken at all. The only advantage is the presence of a supermarket a minute away from the hotel. It had everything, even a department for Russians))) with their favorite sausage in 5 minutes. By the way, the hotel is not called byblos. It's an old name. Now it's a Social Hotel... On the maps of taxi drivers, it turns out this way and that way. Therefore, there were constant problems when ordering a taxi.
Breakfasts are weak. The water needs to be drained for 15 minutes to go hot. There is mold in the bathroom in places.

For the first time and by what criteria to choose a hotel for a holiday with children (every day we are either on an excursion, or in parks or by the sea) we didn't know yet. This time we got to this hotel completely by chance from among those that the travel agent offered us. The main advantage for us was the advantageous location next to the Dubai Internet city metro. In general, the room is quite normal, four people with children of 7 and 3 years old were accommodated without problems. The only thing for the eldest daughter, we from Russia paid for an extra place (a storage bed), because according to the agent, there is no such practice as in, where you ask for a baby bed at any reception and they give it to you, they can say there are no beds available or ask for payment for it on the spot that's why we decided to hedge our bets right away. When registering on the spot, a tourist tax is paid, calculated from the star rating and the cost of the room, we have it for 7 days, it amounted to 105 dirhams. They also offer to pay a deposit for a mini-bar, but you can refuse, I just said that we don't use a mini-bar, they just don't give it an electronic chip and that's it. Nuance, when placing with children, ask for a quiet room, because the hotel has a nightclub and the immediate neighborhood with it can be an unpleasant surprise. Quite a delicious cuisine, we took breakfasts and dinners, if desired, we could move any of the receptions to lunch. It is very convenient that Carrefour was nearby, all the necessary products are at hand, the prices are acceptable. In general, we liked everything for this money, despite the fact that there are extremely negative reviews on the booking. All the best and have a good rest.
The hotel is just great!!! We were with my husband for the New Year holidays. I liked everything: room service, in the restaurant, the rooms are very clean and cozy, the only thing is that the windows don't open, but it doesn't bother. The location of the hotel is very convenient: close to the beach, shopping centers, and any attractions of Dubai. Absolutely meets the requirements of a 4* hotel. I recommend definitely visiting this hotel, you will like it!!!
