An ancient Byzantine cistern. It's a very interesting place. It is not perceived by the locals as a special place at all, therefore it is in an abandoned state. It is located on the outskirts of the city, under the fortress.

Mega structure, looks great, access is open. You can even go down the spiral staircase. It seems that the Romans used to store fresh water here.

The place is interesting, I advise you, it is located near the fortress and you can easily find it. What I can't understand is how one can treat such antiquities so respectfully - there is garbage all around!
