I liked the cafe. A pleasant courtyard in flowers and greenery. The service is fast, the waiters are good. And, most importantly, delicious food! The family came for lunch (we were waiting for the train, a cafe 800m from the station), of all the dishes that we ordered, we liked everything. Especially the most delicate shish kebab, soft, juicy, without veins or excess fat. Very tasty. Prosperity to the institution!

We were there many times with friends, we were delighted every time! Caucasian cuisine, Abkhazian flavor,
When we visit Gagra, we only go here to eat!!!
To visit Abkhazia and not to visit Apatkha... This is a crime😂🌺💥

An interesting place . The cuisine is more designed for the local population, local dishes are presented, the choice of dishes is not great, but those who love the local flavor, a visit to this hospitable place is mandatory :). Smoked goat meat , fried - super , sauces for hominy are fantastic .The service is respectful and courteous, the host family is wonderful. A lot depends on us as guests, culture and courtesy are welcome!

At first I thought the cafe was closed. I spent 10 minutes looking for staff. There was not a rustle! As a result, I still found some woman and she sat me down at the table. You take the menu yourself at the counter. The staff is not very friendly. Some kind of construction was underway... the roof over the barbecue was being dismantled. I hope our kebabs weren't cooking on it at that moment… The noise from the chainsaw hurt my ears.
Then a fluffy guest of this institution joined us at the table, in order to treat himself to our chicken kebab. Speaking of barbecue. Have you ever seen a skewer of "chicken fillet" on a bone? And I bothered to try such a dish. And at a price no lower than restaurant prices! 400₽ for 100 grams of meat on the bone…
I also ordered a non-alcoholic Pina Colada.
The waitress didn't immediately understand what I wanted from her.
Later, they made me a cocktail. But alcoholic… I might have had a drink, but I was driving. After informing me that they had prepared the wrong cocktail, the waitress got mad at me! With the words that you need to articulate your needs more clearly!
Although I pointed out the column of soft drinks in the menu with my finger. And it is duplicated in words that instead of a pinot colada, you can have an ordinary milkshake.
In a word, the waiters themselves do not know what they are selling.
Guys, don't be angry for such a negative review. But you leave an impression for tourists entering Abkhazia. They want to see the local culture. And they see only lack of culture.

I was led to the proximity of the cafe to the room and to a high rating. Unfortunately, I did not read the reviews further away. Instead of 480p, I paid 950p for food. Almost TWICE AS MUCH! I did not swear, the atmosphere is not very friendly. The chicken kebab turned out to be not a classic one, but from different parts of the chicken on the bones. This is love at first sight. Situation. Interior. Hospitality. Everything is at the level of 10 stars out of 5 possible. After the meal, all four were ready to kiss the chefs and the owner of the barbecue. Chicken shish kebab, beef lula, grilled vegetables, khinkali, grilled cheese: young and smoked, boats, flatbread, sauces, 4 beers and a bottle of Chegem wine, + 10% cost 5200.
To say that it was delicious is to say nothing. Everything was just awesome.
They carried the bill for a long time, but they didn't want to leave either.

We found this cafe by chance. Because we rented a place nearby. This is apaskha, i.e. it is aimed more at local residents who appreciate homemade food! We went to have dinner with our whole extended family.
You wouldn't even realize from the outside that this is such a great place. There is also a covered room and tables outside. It's very cozy. The portions are huge. The dishes of traditional cuisine are delicious! Fast service, we were even surprised.
It was very convenient in terms of the fact that taxi drivers all know this place, it was easy to get home🙂

We have been to this place twice, the second time completely disappointed. There were two women and three children in the train.They asked in advance if it was possible to pay by transfer (although that was how they paid before, but they specifically clarified that there was a shortage of cash), the waitress confirmed to us that there were no problems. As a result, we were cheated, when asked to recalculate, because all of the above did not match the total amount, even including the service, the hostess took the bill, started yelling that she did not count, then brought a new bill and, without apologizing, threw it into our plates. They asked the number where to transfer the money, to which she began to yell that they did not accept the transfer and allegedly no one told us that it was possible. Moreover, with her screams, she clearly attracted the attention of local comrades who were dining at nearby tables. They did not get cash after such a principle, they accepted payment by transfer, but with such a person... In general, I wanted local cuisine and color, we got it... The impression was completely ruined... In May, by the way, we were also cheated, instead of the stated 10% for service, they add at least 25.

It was also not easy to give it up. The waitress quickly referred to the cook, who referred to the owner of the establishment. in general, for about five minutes this nervous local boss tried to persuade him to try this meat, but then he still took it away and imagine sharing this burnt sole with the cook, saying that he liked it, they see it that way.they didn't dare to order meat anymore, they ate vegetables on the grill, but here again there was a catch, the portion was 150-200 grams and they were in the bill for 300 grams, they just didn't want to swear anymore, they paid the bill and left. without touching the sauce that was ordered for the meat.

Frankly, I'm surprised by the negative reviews!!! I've been here twice. This place has real Abkhazian cuisine, homemade, just like it should be, traditional, not commercial. Khachapuri and khinkali are something! Dumplings are above all praise (my mother is from Kuban and I understand something about dumplings).I haven't tried anything else, I can't appreciate it. At the same time, an adequate price tag. I highly recommend it to everyone!!!
