We have been to this cafe twice, everything was very pleasant. Tea is served with lemon and honey, very tasty. I liked the chowder (it's hard to call it soup), I really wanted liquid and hot) we took cold cuts for two, a very large portion, cradles and sausages a little salty, in my opinion. The cheese salad went off with a bang. I'm a fan of legumes, I took the beans. A very unusual combination of beans and cabbage, it's a pity that the dish was barely warm, I love it from the heat. The cabbage rolls also tasted unusual, as they were not fresh cabbage, but sour (soaked in something). It was delicious with mashed potatoes. The grilled breast was unsalted and juicy, you can season it according to your taste preference. Friendly staff. Inside, like going to a cafe, there is a cozy courtyard with tables, i.e. you can sit on the veranda with a view of the cathedral, inside and in the courtyard. I recommend this place, by the way, it has existed for a long time and continues to delight the citizens and guests of the city with its national cuisine)
The oldest kafana in Belgrade. Very colorful and friendly staff. Delicious national food and an incredible atmosphere of the place, especially the courtyard.
I highly recommend you to visit.
I found out about this restaurant on a sightseeing tour, it is a famous historical place! My expectations were fully fulfilled - the perfect restaurant to experience the peculiarities of Serbian cuisine. Everything is very tasty!
