A large airport with a lot of cool shops with souvenirs and themed gifts 😊
Everything was packed and in full. Sellers actively helped in the selection, so knowledge of English was certainly useful)
In general, it's worth visiting Cape Town once in your life: there are a lot of interesting and unusual things here :)

It's a small airport, but it has several restaurants, a large gift shop, a duty-free, a jewelry store, and a bookstore. The prices in the restaurant are not too high (as is usually the case at the airport). Very tasty sushi 👍 Souvenirs can be bought here. Rooibos tea is available and the prices are not high, kudu pate, zebra, ostrich, etc., and everything else. 👍

It's a great airport. We quickly passed through the border control, we only asked for how many days we arrived, and that's it!!! No confirmation of return tickets, which hotel, nothing interested!! They passed very quickly. We received our luggage, changed 300 rubles, and bought a local 5 GB SIM card for a 2-week stay. We took a taxi for 500 rend. Everyone also quickly checked in their luggage and passed through security.

A good airport, duty free is quite small, the choice is meager, the most important thing is that the entrance to the airport, the location of the ticket offices and passport control were organized very well, everything was fast and without problems. Normal! Everything is fast. Passport control doesn't even ask for anything. Exchangers are different, so I advise you to check the exchange rate. If there is no Uber to call a taxi, bargain at the taxi call desk.

Terrible airport lost a suitcase wheel. And they say it's not us, we don't know anything. And on departure, as usually happens, you put fragile things in one and the rest in another suitcase . As a result, there are 2 suitcases for a family. The cunning employees asked to put the lightest suitcase weighing 8 kg on the tape and sent it to be loaded into a cart. And you have to pay extra for a big one. 8 people are complaining at each other saying that they were making out a stack, but at the same time there were 4 above the stack. But the print first said that it was OK. Liars!.We ruined the whole mood and after such great experiences in Cape Town, we trampled on all the impressions and euphoria of returning here.

We were in November 2023, the airport is small, easy to navigate. Souvenir shops are better to visit before the clean zone, everything is much more modest there. I was unable to connect to Wi-Fi... I've been waiting for authorization for a long time, but I haven't pulled up the necessary page. You can see the signal is weak.
