An unusual color was chosen for the temple, but it looks very organic. Especially in combination with a very atypical architecture. These can be found in Kostroma, but it is unusual for the European part.
We were surprised by the icons inside, a large number of anti-Soviet themes. The crimes of Bolshevism against the Orthodox religion and the clergy during the Communist struggle for atheism are described. I've never seen this before.

My favorite temple is Grodno. There is a special atmosphere and grace here, before the most important decisions and events of my life I come to this Temple. The priests are trustworthy, a wonderful church shop. Somehow, the hand does not rise to put stars on the Temple, the Church. There are many atmospheric monasteries in Grodno, but this one is special.

I couldn't go into the cathedral itself, But I want to leave a review for the golden hands of the man who so carefully grows roses near the cathedral. It's a whole art. It was built of brick in 1904-1905 according to the project of architect M. Prozorov, in memory of the officers and lower ranks of the 26th Artillery Brigade who died during the Russian-Japanese war.
On September 30 (November 11), 1907, the church was consecrated.
The prototype is the church of the Caspian Infantry Regiment in Peterhof.
