The situation inside is in the theme of the film of the same name and this is one of the advantages.
The attitude surprised me.
We didn't book tables in advance and when we arrived, we said that everything was busy and we had to wait an hour, maybe 40 minutes. They refused to record for a certain time and said that the queue was alive, although there was no one else in the queue there)
When 3 people came out after 10 minutes, we were told that the table would be cleared in 5 minutes and it would be possible to enter. During this time, no one else came out and so we were shown to a distant hall, in which another table was occupied besides us and the rest of the seats were ALL free. Then we are obsessively offered dishes from the menu and drinks, especially the signature fruit tea, which turns out to be a very sweet hot compote with feijoa.
The salad with cheese and vegetables is sooo spicy. They asked to bring water and it turned out to be only warm…
Some of the dishes from the menu were missing.
At the end, we were told that tips were very much expected, since they were not included in the bill, and they did not give us a check. In the toilet, the cleaner shouted that the papers should be thrown into a certain trash can, and not into any one..
Maybe it was just the wrong day.…
But we did not experience universal delight from the institution

We are in love and definitely recommend it! What a themed flavor, what an excellent and, most importantly, practically free kitchen! Cognac, of course, is Armenian, on trial, as a compliment. Every 30 minutes there is a dance performance based on the content of the work of the same name. Unusual design inside, just gorgeous. Full-length figures of all the characters from the movie, a sea of photo zones with them! I really, really liked it!

Delicious dishes. The service is simply excellent. We were served by a wonderful waiter, Gevorg, who talked interestingly about every dish and drink we ordered. I am very excited about this restaurant and recommend it to everyone! The director of the restaurant is a charming man, paid attention to us and willingly agreed to take a picture with our cheerful company.

We didn't see anything unusual in this restaurant, except for the design. We were served by a waiter who obviously doesn't like Russians very much. I did not change dirty plates, did not take away empty dishes, I had to wait a very long time for drinks and after 20 minutes of waiting I looked for a waiter in the hall and asked to bring a drink, only after that he brought it. The flower vase was brought from the 5th request. The dishes were mostly taken out by other waiters, because there was a clear negative feeling in our direction. It was noticeable how the other tables where the Armenians were sitting were served. It was a birthday, the waiter knew about it, they told him and it was unpleasant when there were congratulations at other tables on behalf of the restaurant, but we were not there. Also, to make an order, we waited for the waiter for 30 minutes. Khinkali can only be ordered from 5 pieces of the same type, for the first time I meet such nonsense. In general, if you want to sit in the atmosphere of a Caucasian prisoner and feel a negative attitude towards Russians, then you can safely go here. The food is not as tasty as we would like. The wine generally gave a sugary sediment. Even the administrator, answering our question why there was sediment in the wine, made it clear that these were our problems, that we finished the bottle to the end, and did not leave half a bottle of wine. I also want to note that the waiter does not even know what grapes the wine they sell in their restaurant is made from and did not even show interest to go to the bar and find out.

All the dishes of the local (Armenian) cuisine are excellent, I especially recommend trying the sterlet on the coals here.
Also, sangria did not leave anyone indifferent.

- Definitely delicious 😋 + Local cuisine. There are plenty to choose from from the menu. By the way, it is available in different languages (we, tourists, were offered both in Russian and English).
- Clean, including the hall and bathroom
- Polite and tidy staff
- The style of the establishment. We were greeted by an attractive employee with a square hairstyle like Nina's from the movie, so my imagination ran wild from the threshold. A cozy interior with good furniture, where even full-length dolls fit in. It's not a shame to take a photo for memory, so to speak 🤗
- Live music won my heart ❤ ❤ ❤

I've been going to the restaurant since 2015, often, and it's always been very tasty, but not everything lasts forever.
The last visit last week left bad impressions: khachapuri in Ajarian was brought in 50 minutes, the only dish of one of the three guests, the other two guests were served hot dishes earlier, but also at different times - my husband managed to finish before they served me khinkali.
If before we always chose as a welcoming place to meet with friends and have a delicious feast, now, alas, we will neither go ourselves nor recommend it.

8) at the end, we asked for the bill, the waiter brought the bill and said that tips were not included in the bill, although 10% was written on the receipt, he says he does not know why they write this and to whom this money goes. I lied. There are restaurants in Armenia where 10% is initially included in the receipt and they write it in the receipt, and there are restaurants where it is not included in the receipt. This is very disgusting on the part of the restaurant managers. Shame.
In general, I really do not recommend visiting this restaurant. You can go in, take a picture and feel free to go to another restaurant, fortunately in Armenia, and in Yerevan in particular, there is a place to eat delicious food.
