CDEK courier delivery service is almost the only way to send a parcel to Russia during the period of sanctions. They work fast, faster than mail earlier, it is possible to send at the recipient's expense, for example, a grandmother can collect a parcel for grandchildren in Russia, and grandchildren will pay for delivery upon receipt... You can go to the address, you can call by phone, specifying the city, and there they call the recipient and agree on the method of delivery or receipt ...
Just keep in mind if there is no Russian translation on your things to be sent on packages (tea, sweets, any canned food, etc.), then such things are not accepted. This is the situation we found ourselves in when, after a trip to Thailand, we wanted to send Thai sweets, spices and coffee to our relatives, but they were not accepted. I had to limit myself to shorts, and T-shirts with elephants for my nephews...

Faced with such a situation, I came on 11.01.22 to send a parcel. There was a girl, excuse me if I'm wrong, Gulshat. She told me everything, showed me, suggested, packed, the girl is super. I came the next day to send another package. There was a guy, tall, thin, Alexander. So he packed the parcels so that I was shocked and my husband was shocked when he received the parcel. He didn't pack it at all. I was furious, they took a picture and sent it to the authorities. I really hope that no one else will run into such an irresponsible employee.
