It's a beautiful place, just like all the other places in Beijing. I recommend a romantic walk. An atmospheric place. There are bars with live music. I really liked it. It is better to arrive before dark, and leave when it gets dark.
A beautiful palace with a gorgeous park, one of the most iconic places in Beijing, the image of the temple of heaven can be found everywhere.
Easily accessible by metro, the nearest stations are Tian Qiao and East Gate of Temple of Heaven.
Pay attention to the closure of the complex, usually it is 16-17 hours, plan a visit in the morning.
Among the disadvantages is a huge number of people, comparable to Google, there are much fewer people in the park.
I highly recommend it
One of the must-see places in Beijing, and therefore it can be very crowded here.
There are automatic audio guides in Russian, but somehow it didn't work out very well with them - we didn't determine the place well and we didn't hear half of the points. On request, "the park of the Temple of heaven. Virtual Tour" you can find an excellent description of everything you will see on the main route. According to this description, it is better to go from south to north, but this is not particularly important.
On the way from the Temple to the Western Gate, you can see local residents engaged in their hobbies such as dancing, singing, gymnastics, etc.
