Excellent five-star hotel. The rooms are large with a balcony, all with sea views. There is a Russian RTR channel on TV. Large green area, swimming pool divided into several zones. For children, for swimming and diving (depth 3.8m). Water bar. There is a so-called "lazy river", where you can slowly swim along the riverbed on double and single inflatable circles, falling into various water traps along the way: waterfalls, overturning pitchers, etc. There
is a children's club, a gym, all kinds of "climbing ladders" for children, a fountain area with a huge overturning vat of water, etc. There are animators Russian Russian is spoken by girls without an accent (their own), the men are British, like, but they can also speak Russian. Water aerobics, zorg balloon, children's games and all other daily program. You won't be bored.
The guests are diverse. Approximately 45-50% are Chinese, 25-30% are Russian-speaking, and 20-25% are all the rest. But closer to January 6, the British began to replace the Chinese.
We took accommodation + breakfast, it was stupid to take all-inclusive accommodation, because there are a huge number of restaurants outside the hotel for every taste and budget. A variety of cuisines from Thai, Russian, German, British to Uzbek. The average check for three people (5-6 dishes, drinks and beer) is 2000 baht +/- 300-500 depending on the portions and popularity of the restaurant. Some guests even bought food from street vendors and brought it to the room.
There are a lot of grocery stores, alcohol in the assortment. Therefore, you do not need to pay triple the price for the same beer at the hotel. However, due to the availability of food and drinks outside the hotel, there is a rule on its territory that it is forbidden to consume food and drinks brought near the pool. The fine is 500 baht. However, some guests still brought all this from the beach, since the beach is flooded with local merchants. No one touched them, the main thing is not to be arrogant and not to put it all on display.
Now a fly in the ointment. Where would it go without that.
1. The beach is public, without sun beds and umbrellas. Of course, the staff provides them, but upon arrival on the beach. This leads to the second disadvantage.
2. Sun beds with an advantageous location near the pool have to be occupied early in the morning according to the good old Egyptian-Turkish tradition. You'll come a little after 7 a.m., that's it, take what's left. Moreover, they all sinned, regardless of nationality. The British tried especially hard. There were individuals who occupied sun beds early in the morning, and then did not come to these sun beds or came by 16-17 hours.
Overall, the rest was a success.
A hotel from the "Wow" category! Great for a trip with children. There is everything you need for a wonderful holiday. All rooms have a sea view. A huge, shady balcony. The sea is clean, which was very surprising, since there is a stereotype about Pattaya that the sea is dirty. Yes, it is not transparent due to the characteristics of the sand, but there is no debris or foam. The bottom is clean, but swim in coral, as there are a lot of shells on the bottom. The beach is clean and well maintained. There are a minimum of sun beds, but there are always free ones. We didn't even go to the islands, because the quality of the sea near the hotel was so good. The hotel itself is stunningly beautiful, the design of the territory and the hotel itself is impressive. Food is a credit! There are Thai, Indian, and European cuisines. A wonderful water park, which is currently closed for repairs, but I think it will get even better by the season. The rooms are cleaned daily. They change the bed and towels all the time-they are not lazy. The prices for dinners at the hotel bite. But there are many places within walking distance where you can have a delicious dinner. We checked out Siam Cafe, there is an amazing Tom Yam with an original serving. Perhaps the most delicious of all Tom-Yams) when you get tired of Thai cuisine, I recommend Fusillo Italian restaurant next to the hotel. Everything there is awesome delicious! I fell in love with Pattaya after visiting the Grand Mirage Bazaar❤
I didn't like the hotel. Noisily. There are a lot of people at breakfast, the location of the tables is not convenient, there seems to be a lot of food, but everything is so dull that you do not feel like in a 5-star hotel. We need to work on the serving, dishes, and so on. The hotel is in need of renovation, there is a lack of grooming everywhere. Even the robes were torn! And this is on the day of check-in. The bathroom sink was constantly clogged. A repairman was called once, but still the water is standing and does not go away for a long time, and we lived on the 11th floor! The cleaning is very bad! It's superficial. I had to ask for a dental kit, they don't put it in. Shampoo and conditioner of poor quality. The location is also not the best. And I would like to write separately about the entrance to the beach. This is a wide staircase with no handrails. It is extremely inconvenient for people with disabilities or the elderly. In fact, you cannot go to the sea if there is a problem with movement. It is dangerous even for a healthy person, you can stumble, the stairs are stone and uneven. This is very important! This is a message to the manager. The price is very high, there are better and cheaper hotels in Pattaya.
