Unfortunately, in this establishment, the service and cuisine turned out to be on different islands, and it seems that they will never meet. As a result, while you're waiting for your order, you start to notice cobwebs, dirty tables and an interior that clearly remembers the best of times...
The main task of any cafe or restaurant is to feed your guest. And it would seem that this is a fairly simple task. But apparently not for this place. I ordered a medium-fried steak, but instead they brought me three different pieces of meat with a full roast. Of course, I clarified all the details when ordering, but it seems that my expectations were too high. And the employee's knowledge is minimal.
I decided to change the dish and chose the entrecote and medium rare roasting. Are you sure I won't lose?! And I'll have a lot of fun :)
Another hour of waiting, and they brought me a huge piece of raw tenderloin.
Of course, at that moment I had already turned into an "angry, hungry guest" who was ready to eat the whole menu.
When I asked for something quick, they replied with a smile that you should wait 30 minutes. It looked like a joke, but, alas, this is not a funny joke, but reality.
If the restaurant hadn't let guests in right away, it might have created a more positive impression on them. In general, if you want to spend the evening waiting and tormenting, this is the place for you. But if you value your time and appetite, it's better to look for something else!
Of the advantages, it is worth highlighting:
The interior is quite beautiful
A good hookah and an attentive Hookah man, but that's all you can go here for if there are no places in other establishments.
Let's move on to the most interesting thing - the disadvantages of the Center institution:
A bad, untrained service staff who did not come to the table the first time after the arrival of our company!
According to the bar card, I can note that everything was extremely cloying, I wanted to dilute everything and calmly get another drink
Now let's move on to the menu and the kitchen!
The most obscene attitude towards cooking and products on the part of chefs, because you still need to try to spoil the products in this way.
Let's start with the classic carbonara dish: the most dry, tasteless, unbalanced in taste, with strange ingredients in the form of tomatoes, and a dish of peppers! What did they even forget there!? It's not clear to me. And I omit this as the fact that the wrong pasta was used for this dish. For everyone's understanding, I will say that Fettuccine pasta or Tagliatelle should be used, but we were served with spaghetti, I do not despise this, but it was not written anywhere about it and was a little surprised. And, well, out of the surprises- this is of course carbonara with beef, I would like it to be described in the menu, and not as an unspoken rule.
Perhaps we'll finish with the "hot" part of the menu and move on to salads
Well, it's hard to justify anything here
We ordered a warm salad with duck and caramelized pear. Do you feel the orange in the name? So I did not foresee its presence in the salad. You can reasonably answer that its presence is probably prescribed in the composition, but no! Unfortunately, people with allergies to citrus fruits will have to predict that there is an allergen in the dish when ordering (For employees and owners: either add to me that there are allergens, or train the staff to ask the customer about his allergens). We can continue talking about the taste. The perfect combination of products was completely destroyed by a complete disregard for the principles of cooking, especially ducks. But first, the sauce! Although it was not bad, there was an insanely large amount of it, which greatly outweighed all the flavors in the salad so much that it was simply impossible to eat it. Well, the queen of this dish, a tender, tasty, juicy duck! Somewhere, but not in this place. Of the 5-6 sliced slices of duck, only 2 could be eaten without choking on the fat of this very duck, and several slices consisted entirely of disgusting fat. Although duck is a fatty product, I ask you to train chefs to learn how to work with knives in the kitchen to process meat before serving. but! The pear was good!
Well, you can describe the disadvantages of the institution for a long time, but perhaps that's all.
Result:
I strongly do not recommend visiting this place! Disgusting menu and bad staff (with the exception of the Hookah Man, he was just a master of the craft, I'm sorry I don't remember the name, but he earned one star for the institution.)
Not a bad location. Salmon steak "offset". But with a beer plate - a poor thing. The chicken whose wings were served to us died a long time ago and most likely by her own death. Beer on tap is also "dachshund". Dirty glasses were served, which we changed. Unfortunately, I can't attach a photo, but take my word for it......
