Chabana Kamala Hotel 4* is a wonderful place for both family and private holidays. The hotel is suitable in many ways: location, comfort in the rooms, cleanliness and cleaning in the room, menu and staff.
1. The location from Kamala beach is very convenient - only 10 minutes at a leisurely pace and 7 minutes fast. The sea is clear and calm, sometimes there are small waves in the evening at low tide. There are a lot of sun beds on the beach, but we took a towel at the hotel reception and went to the beach with it, without renting sun beds. Clean white sand, no stones on the central beach.
2. Check-in starts as in all hotels - at 2 o'clock. We were settled quickly, they speak English at the reception, if there are any announcements, for example, sewage discharge, pool cleaning, transfer from the hotel, they are written in Russian. The rooms themselves are clean, and cleaning takes place during the day.
The hotel includes one 5-storey building with a plunge pool and sun loungers. Personally, we never swam in the pool, we went to Kamala beach.
3. We only had breakfast included in the price of the hotel, they are from 6:30-10:30. The breakfasts are European-style, some dishes change, but mostly the same dishes. We had lunch and dinner at a restaurant called
Popeye in front of the hotel. We really liked it, the portions were large and delicious, the drinks were for every taste, and the prices were reasonable: sometimes 1,500 or 1,000 baht for three people.
4. The hotel staff is wonderful: hardworking, friendly and helpful. If there are problems, any nuances, they try to solve them. Thanks to them, our vacation was wonderful and we had a good rest. Thank them very much! ❤️
The only drawback may be, probably, only the noise from the central streets. Our windows looked out there, and the noise didn't subside until about 3 a.m. But if you're not too distracted by the noise at night, you won't even notice it. However, noise at night is actually a problem for many hotels.
5. During our vacation, we only went on 2 excursions, but it was worth it. The first one was provided by Coral travel, it was free. There we visited the Royal Shark, the snake farm, the Buddha Temple, where a piece of his collarbone is kept, the Gim Gallery (jeweler. shop) and the highest point of Phuket. The trip was just wonderful!
The second tour was the Similan Islands. We have never seen water as clear and transparent as a tear. We visited 2 of the 3 active islands, they are open for only six months, the rest of the time is spent on restoring nature. There was snorkeling and beach swimming, and we saw a large sea turtle.
In general, we have never regretted choosing this particular hotel. Everything was wonderful, thanks a lot to this hotel! 🤗

The three of us had a rest from November 2 to November 14, 2024, the room was paid for in economy, and we were immediately accommodated in a junior suite with a balcony, we liked it, the responsive staff, clean, hearty breakfast, the young man at the reception did not ignore all requests, helped us navigate, set up the air conditioner. The noise from the street did not bother, we swam in the pool every morning.

The vacation started 2 days ago and I'm ready to write a review. The hotel inside is a bit old , requires a lot of repairs, but generally not bad . Little storage space. The breakfasts are the same every day, but for me it's not a minus, I'm very picky about food, I always find something to eat, there are a lot of cafes nearby. The location is good, 10 minutes maximum walk to the sea. I clean THE ROOMS EVERY DAY. The location is good. Maybe an air conditioner running loudly will be a disadvantage for someone. For me, it's such a good hotel for such a price in the season near the sea.

The Cabana Kamala Hotel has met all my expectations! Convenient location, excellent service and clean, comfortable rooms. The hotel staff was very friendly and attentive to all questions. The restaurant offers excellent cuisine. I recommend it for a wonderful vacation, but not an expensive time.

In order: location - the hotel is 5-7 minutes from the main entrance to the beach, 5 minutes from BigC and fruit/vegetable market, surrounded by numerous cafes (music sometimes plays up to 2 nights). The rooms are modest but pretty, linen and towels of good quality and new, disposable sets, tea, coffee regularly regardless of the room category (cleanliness regardless of the room category will be equally swept), audibility in the rooms does not depend on the category, but on the side where the room goes (you can take birushi at the reception), sometimes you can not just hear the music, but also the vibration from the speakers in the cafe (the room stock is worn out differently: there are fresh rooms, and there are tired ones) . The halls of the hotel and the elevator are stuffy, except for the reception area and the cafe. The staff is friendly, they help in response to requests, but no one will be surprised by the service. There are many guests from Europe, there are our fellow citizens. Cuisine : good coffee for breakfast, two Thai dishes, eggs, sausage products, juice, cereals, fruits (watermelon, pineapple), jam, vegetables (cucumbers, tomatoes). The hotel is clean, courteous staff, daily room cleaning. Not a bad breakfast. A clean swimming pool.
Excellent location- six minutes walk to the sea, five minutes from an inexpensive fruit market. There are many shops and cafes nearby.
There is a Fantasy show nearby.
A five-minute walk away there is a bus stop that runs according to the schedule across the island.

A mid-level hotel. Among the disadvantages: there is little furniture in the rooms (there are no bedside tables, one chair, no furniture on the balcony), ants ply the room. Of the advantages: cleaning every day, water is provided, there are beach towels, safe, TV, air conditioning. The sea is 5-7 minutes away by roads without footpaths, but this is the beach next to the stinky river. You need to walk another 7-10 minutes to a normal beach. There are shops near the hotel: 7/11 and BigS. The hotel has a small swimming pool.

The room has a kettle, refrigerator, glasses and mugs, they put tea,coffee,sugar, I had a window in but most rooms do not have a window, 8-14 minutes to the sea, there are a lot of massage parlors, cafes, supermarkets, pharmacies, currency exchangers, a market with vegetables and products, about 250-300 baht by car to Patong 30 minutes, the location is normal, but it is located near a 6-lane highway and a cafe nearby is very noisy until 1-3 nights if you like to sleep or silence, this hotel is not for you, breakfast is very modest from fruits only watermelons and pineapples and rice in different variations omelet, not for gourmets in general so as not to starve, but the benefit of food around cheap and inexpensive, there is simply no territory of its own, only a small swimming pool, if it were not for the noise of the norms, and so I would conditionally call the hotel a flophouse!

The hotel is not bad, the polite young staff is well cleaned, there is a cafe, the beach is accessible (good) next to the main street and the road. There are a lot of eateries. Of the disadvantages, not all rooms have Windows (check in advance) there are bars under the windows and sometimes you can hear music. WiFi is not fast, it's better to buy a local SIM card.

We lived in April in a deluxe room with a balcony, on the second floor, the Windows faced the adjacent road.
The room is spacious, cleaned every day, bed linen was not changed, only refilled, bottled water per person daily; shampoo, shower gel were also available.
Sound insulation is quite comfortable, only during the week of the Thai New Year celebration it was a little noisy, but we slept without problems under the air conditioner with the balcony closed.
By food: consistently and daily - rice, one Thai dish, sausages, scrambled eggs, omelet, watermelon from fruits, once there was also pineapple, no baking - only toast with jam and butter, there were juices - pineapple, orange, water, milk. Everything is edible, but monotonous.
The staff is polite and friendly.
There is a swimming pool, but we did not swim.
The convenient location of the hotel is 5-7 minutes to Kamala beach, near Big C, two markets within walking distance.

We were at the hotel in December 2022. The hotel itself is small, the pool is too. No one swam there. By room: daily cleaning, white bed, daily change of towels, bottled water 0.33 each day. but! There is no water pressure in the shower, tiny sets of shampoo and shower gel. Enough for one person. There is no soap.The reception is spoken only in Thai or English. Breakfast is monotonous every day (sausages, omelette, maybe spaghetti with some kind of fish flavor, toast, 2 types of juice, milk, cucumbers, watermelon, pineapple). Huge disadvantages- it is located far from the shore, at night there are screams and even fights downstairs because there are drinking establishments (I definitely do not recommend it with children, my eyes "popped out" from what I saw). The view from the balcony is terrible, shabby buildings and mold. In the evening, you can't go out at night because there are extraordinary people walking down the street within walking distance of "marijuana" (that's what I called it). Of the advantages-shops near bic c, 7th leven and some other, there is a cosmetics store (for girls) and the cosmetics are not bad. There is a fruit market nearby (not expensive)Well, tuk-tuks.... It's not easy to catch them here. The cost is 300 baht to Surin beach. We didn't go to ours because it was dirty.

If you don't want to spoil your vacation experience, avoid this place! Especially with children. The hotel is located right on the main road leading to Patong, which is heavily trafficked 24/7. Ambulances, police with sirens are all available. On all sides of the hotel there are disco bars, cafes with prostitutes, marijuana, etc. The slotting does not stop until 3:00 and so on all the time. The hotel may have advantages, cleaning, friendly staff... But all this is not particularly important when you come to rest, but you lie from night to night and listen to the beating of music, the screams of prostitutes, drunken Germans, etc. And yes, every day breakfast: fried eggs, paper sausages, scrambled eggs and a national rice patter. Or noodles. That's all! I had to walk along the shore and look for a place to sleep off elementary. We found a great hotel, with prices twice cheaper than our tour operators, slept it off, saved the rest. But not everyone has the money to change a hotel on vacation. The location of the hotel is not unambiguous: if you are a supporter of sound, healthy sleep, or you have sensitive little children, then you definitely are not here. Breakfasts are not particularly interesting, as there is not much choice. The room is cleaned well if you are in the room and tell me what to do and where to do it. There is no hot water. Upon arrival, there was a smell of dampness and mustiness in the room, but soon it either disappeared or got used to it. There will be a lot of impressions from such vacations. They just make the bed and that's it. They also leave the water and change the towels. The floor was unwashed, the dust was not wiped. The linen was not changed
The worst thing is that the bag with the clothes of his wife and son disappeared from the room. The package contained Merrel hiking pants, a shirt and his son's sports jacket. When we checked in, she was definitely there, because we sorted out all the clothes and put them in the closet. No matter how much the spouse explained to them, the receptionist girl did the only thing - brought some old trousers and a shirt. Which of course we refused. In general, more because of this case, there was a bad impression of the hotel.

But because of the noise, it was impossible to sleep outdoors. The breakfasts are very decent. They ate too much. Fruits and vegetables are plentiful. We tried to eat in street cafes, it's not bad, but it's hot outside and we decided to eat in the hotel restaurant, the prices are almost like on the street, the assortment is varied, clean, neat. The pool is small. You can swim and lie down, there are sun beds, towels are provided. The sea is nearby. The beach is clean. There is no one except vacationers. In general, we are satisfied with everything, you can relax in this hotel again.

Only positive memories remain from visiting the Chabana Kamala Hotel in December 2019. The girls at the reception are friendly, checked in immediately upon arrival at 11 o'clock. Large room on the third floor with panoramic window, balcony, safe, refrigerator, air conditioning, TV. They cleaned every day - changed bed linen and towels, left two bottles of water, tea, coffee, sugar, shampoo, body gel, soap. One day I accidentally left a hundred dollars in my purse in the room, and a few days later the money was in place. We had breakfast at the hotel, the menu is varied, fruits - everything is delicious! It's a small pool, but we've never swum in it. And, not least, the hotel is located close to the beach, the market and the supermarket "Big C" (7 minutes walk).
When booking a room, it is worth considering that the hotel has rooms without windows, only a small window in the bathroom.
I recommend this hotel to everyone, which stands on the picturesque coast of the Andaman Sea.
