The cuisine was delicious, I liked everything and the polite waitress, the place was atmospheric and cozy enough, but the prices for alcohol were high. We ordered semi-sweet champagne - they poured it into different glasses, not what we ordered, they brought us brut. As it turned out, there was no semi-sweet, they ordered beer, as we do not like brut and refused. If the girl waiter had warned us, it would have been possible to avoid an unpleasant situation and save time. But we understand her workload, as she is both the receptionist and the 2in1 waiter, and we saw how hard she tried (they left a good tip) . Calm, unobtrusive music was playing in the background. There are more pros than cons.
We often visit this place with our family. I really like the cuisine, it's always delicious. But the service sometimes leaves much to be desired. In November, we came and sat down at the table to wait for the menu, but no one came up to us for 25 minutes. After looking around, we realized that the receptionist was taking a large order for an event and was completely unresponsive to the rest of the guests who entered the cafe. They're gone. Today, on 06.01, the receptionist did not hear the second portion of our order and did not even apologize, making us guilty for not ordering it. We will continue to visit the cafe, we love the food here, but the management should have a conversation with the administrators.
This is my first visit! A small, cozy Uzbek-style cafe! Beautifully decorated. The waitress works fast. I took a Tashkent shurpa and a lamb shish kebab. It's perfectly cooked. The flatbread is delicious, not bad. Everything is halal! I recommend it to fans of Uzbek and Arabic cuisine!
An interesting and very original place for Minsk. Inside, there is an oriental entourage, a varied menu, and reasonable prices. I recommend visiting if you like this destination.
Recently, my friends and I were at a new restaurant. We really liked it there. It's cozy, and the waiters are kind and help you choose the food. There are many different kinds of food on the menu, it is delicious and beautifully decorated. We want to go there again.
The best pilaf in the world, I want to come back here all the time for pilaf. A varied menu, everything you don't try is incredibly delicious💔 The prices are average, but the portions are large. The service is decent, the waiter Olga is a master of her craft!
Interior, atmosphere, service - no complaints., solid 4 stars. Well, except for the fact that the plate had a slight chink, but let's put it down to the national flavor. Unfortunately, there are questions about the dishes. Judging by the slightly warm vegetables inside, the shurpa was warmed up. Maybe pilaf, too, at least in taste. Plus, there were burnt onions. The tomatoes in shakarob also don't seem to have been sliced immediately before serving. In general, it seems that all the dishes were yesterday's. Perhaps the reason was Ramadan, and fresh dishes are being prepared for the first star, and I went to have lunch in the afternoon, but this is not a good explanation, especially since the place is not on a budget, by no means.
Tashkent Teahouse is a cozy place with an atmosphere reminiscent of oriental streets and the aroma of freshly brewed tea. After visiting this place, I enjoyed the excellent service, delicious cuisine and authentic atmosphere. The menu of the teahouse offers a wide selection of dishes prepared according to traditional recipes, as well as a variety of teas. The atmosphere was cozy and warm, which created a great mood for spending time with friends. I was satisfied with my visit to the teahouse and will definitely return there again.
We got here by chance (in other establishments nearby, either first-come, first-served or full reserve during the New Year holidays), we didn't regret it. I am not a fan of oriental cuisine. But she left here pleasantly impressed, well-fed and satisfied.
Mansaf is incomparable! Pilaf and shurpa are also delicious, in moderation with spices.
The service is fast, despite the fact that there was only one waitress.
The only thing is, the toilet could be cleaner though.
I'm from Tashkent and visited this place myself, met the owner (a cool guy), if you want to taste Uzbek cuisine directly, then this place will not work 100%, but it's so cozy!
An interesting place to eat with an oriental flavor. I ate pilaf, tea and baklava. Everything is delicious and decent. The waiter was polite enough. There is wi-fi. Minus star : there was an incomplete menu. I wanted to try manta rays - there were no desserts, the same with a modest selection from the menu. Otherwise, everything is OK.
We had dinner with our family and were very disappointed with these establishments. We were served quickly, but the waiter was also the receptionist. The pilaf was burnt, and the lagman was without Uzbek spices. We are very disappointed with these establishments, we do not recommend anyone to go here.
To say that this is a teahouse is impossible from the word at all!
It's a Chinese fake) with Syrian roots. The food is disgusting, the waiter and the receptionist are the same person, and they are unhappy, it seems that she has a lot of grief) she is dressed as if she came from the country. Shame on this place and its owner.
I recommend not to enter. Take care of your health
A three-star restaurant, the waitress and the receptionist are the same person, they can forget the order because they don't write it down. The food is normal, stopping by for a snack is normal, but not the fountain. The room is dusty, the sofas are dusty, the decorations on the ceiling are dusty.
We ordered manti, tea with baklava. It's cooked well. A polite waiter girl. National music, beautifully decorated hall. There were no visitors, no smokers were found)) minus a star for a cup with a "chipped" (with a chip)
Prices bite!!
There are no good impressions about food either!
Only the pilaf is delicious 😋
But it is better to find an Uzbek who knows how to do it himself and it will be cheaper
The pilaf is delicious and crumbly, the meat is soft, which made me happy – without a ton of oil. It arrived quickly. But, in my opinion, the prices are a bit high.
On September sixth, 2024, we had lunch at the Tashkent cafe on Komsomolskaya Street. The owner is Syrian. This is bad, because instead of the Uzbek band "Yalla", which would perform "Uchkuduk - three wells", I had to listen to Arabic songs that do not fit Tashkent in any way. There were no Manta rays. It's bad again. We went in to eat mutton mantas, but there are none, although they are listed on the menu. I ordered a tea house pilaf. They brought it. The rice had no taste. It seems that it was cooked separately from the meat. The meat is tough, apparently the cow died of old age. And there were only two cubes of this meat measuring 5 mm. 😃
In short, we need to go to Tashkent. Everything will be well prepared there, as we are used to. I am not Uzbek, but I grew up in Tashkent.
They ordered 2 cradles, brought one and claim that they did not order two, but they brought two appliances, the kitchen is delicious! The service leaves much to be desired
It was insanely delicious. I haven't enjoyed Oriental cuisine like this for a long time. Samsa is just a masterpiece. I have never eaten such a mass before. I recommend this place to all those who miss authentic Uzbek cuisine.
I often look in here. In the center, a quiet place, very cozy, not crowded, the price tag is excellent.
So far, it was here that I found pilaf, really similar to the one that the hospitable Uzbeks treated me to during my trip to Tashkent!
A good chakhana, I took a shurpa, it tastes good, but the portion for a man was small, so I advise you to take some bread from the menu, then it's fine. We ordered traditional tea (Tajik like), tea for one time, for me as usual only with lemon + little tea leaves. We took kizmarauli wine, not bad. Did you advise me to go and try Uzbek cuisine for once?
I was with the children, I liked it, it was not noisy, atmospheric, the food was delicious, the staff was friendly, could recommend dishes for every taste.
We went to the teahouse just to relax. Saturday at 16 o'clock. There weren't many visitors. A nice girl met us, offered us a free table and a menu. The dishes are served quickly. We ordered a salad from the chef, a loin. Delicious. Nice, quiet place. Nice music. Clear.
The food is delicious, affordable, I would not say that it is expensive, but also not cheap.
The interior is pleasant, it does not bother the eye.
The staff is polite, the room itself is clean.
The biggest THING IS, they smoke right in the hall, and the hall is 30 squares, not spacious, it's not very pleasant when you eat and smoke at a couple of tables.
Accordingly, the taste of food is lost and clothes absorb the smell of cigarettes.
I don't know how, we were very lucky. Lagman was good, tea too, and a good-natured man met us. The music and the interior match the name. The portions are normal.
In general, the food is fresh and I liked it, but without much enthusiasm. There were 15 people in the company-6 children, 7 adults. The wait is no more than 40 minutes and we were fed.
The cafe is small, everything is homely, the style corresponds to the name.
Good food, decent sized portions. Pies made of thin crispy dough were especially good.
The waitress is nice. The music wasn't blaring. The interior is beautiful.
I was surprised by the menu with a lot of unfamiliar dishes. The serving is strange - first the hot dish was brought, then the salad. Everything that was ordered was delicious, the lagman is low-fat. The atmosphere is pleasant
An authentic setting. You feel like you are in Uzbekistan (you were there a long time ago). I cook pilaf better (between them), I liked the manti. Overall, the food is 4 out of 5
The food is delicious, that's for sure, but the prices are much higher than the average for the same dishes in other establishments, much! Tea is 10p and this is not some kind of individual collection of herbs, but just a mixture of sachets and lemon...10p , horror. One person will not eat 45p of meat per serving . The interior is interesting , but something is missing , it is also smoky . If money is not a problem and you want delicious Uzbek food, then you can safely go. For me, there are places where for this money they will feed both tastier and cheaper.
Great cafe. Calorie design of the hall. The food is very tasty. The service is fast.
