I will describe my honest personal review of agent Ekaterina Lankovskaya from the Rush Hour agency, and leave it to dear readers to judge.
We ran into an agent when we wanted to buy an empty apartment and the agency helped the seller sell it. It is worth admitting that the agent behaved tactfully, sweetly and tried to answer questions, although in fact she could not answer right away. But at the very first meeting, we noticed that the agent was rather weakly involved in describing to us the advantages of this apartment and somehow getting us interested in it. After she showed us a couple of exclusive “chips” at home, we went into the apartment with a phrase we heard something like “well, I won't bother you, you can look around.” “It's strange, but okay, maybe this is a plus,” we thought and began to explore the apartment.
After the inspection, we took time to think and twice more came to inspect the apartment and expressed our interest. Once we even called the designers to think about some future decisions regarding the apartment (which only once again confirms our interest). As a result, we offered our price, which the owners eventually agreed to and said that we liked the apartment, but we needed to think about some personal issues, which is why we were not ready to leave a deposit right away. It seems that we have met with understanding in this matter. At the same time, we clearly and clearly made it clear that we should not be discounted, we are very interested. We called in the middle of the week and agreed to call next week.
And then something very strange happened. On Monday, we discovered that the ad had simply disappeared. In a panic, we called the realtor and heard some excuses. It turned out that the apartment was managed in one day (!!): 1) to see, 2) to leave a deposit and 3) to conclude a preliminary purchase and sale agreement for a loan (in an office that surprisingly worked on Sunday). And the next day (Monday afternoon), buyers even managed to go to the bank and get a positive response on the loan.
To say that we were shocked is to say nothing. It is worth admitting that, of course, given that we did not leave a deposit, then no one should have kept an apartment for us. But given our unconditional and unequivocal interest in this apartment, which we expressed and seemed to find understanding, we were shocked that the agent did not even call us!! Moreover, he did not call not only before other people were given a deposit, so that, perhaps, we decided at the moment, but even after I rented an apartment from the sale there was no call! But we had an agreement to at least call. And as a result, the apartment was lost to us.
As a result, we were left with the most terrible negative impression of the agent's work from the point of view of the ethical relationship with the client.
P.S. The story may seem very subjective and personal, but when communicating with other people and employees from other companies in this field, we saw unequivocal support for our opinion, so we decided to write this review anyway. Plus, it's worth adding that during the search for an apartment to buy, we encountered not a single realtor from different companies and it was the worst experience in the end.
Summarizing all of the above:
Minuses:
- Weak work with the buyer to get interested in the purchase
- Subjectively: A very strange story with how the buyer managed to go from viewing to receiving a loan in less than a day, taking into account the weekend
- Subjectively: I did not take advantage of the opportunity to arrange auctions between interested buyers in order to make the seller better
- Terrible passivity in terms of “keeping in touch” about changes with the buyer
Positive:
- Sweet, pleasant to talk to, really there was a positive in this regard
- Without any problems, I provided the opportunity to inspect the apartment several times and it was prompt
I planned to purchase a plot of land near Minsk.
The ad shows the price and the realtor of the Rush Hour company, Alexander Chukovich, who cannot be reached in the morning or evening.
The realtor calls back in an hour, two, or the next day, although quick communication is very important when examining the site in order to discuss emerging issues directly during the inspection.
I was ready to buy a plot at the price of an advertisement and take a deposit.
Chukovich, probably not expecting a quick decision made by me, took a break until the evening and called back, announcing the price of $ 7,000 higher than indicated in the ad.
At the same time, he told me for 5 minutes that this was the owner's decision and how he persuaded him not to increase the price.
Probably the realtor Chukovich from the Rush Hour agency lives by the principle: an honest realtor is a poor realtor.
He refused to buy it.
