I come here periodically, 3-4 times a year. The interior and the view are just love. The food is not bad.
But, as usual, people spoil everything)
The cook generally works at full relaxation, it seems) on Monday morning at 9 he was not in the restaurant) although the restaurant actually works from 9:00.
The waitress in the hall does everything with such a face that she does not want to turn once again.
We came today for breakfast, which should be from 9 to 11, the same waitress has now told us new information: breakfast from 10 to 12. What kind of breakfasts are these from 10?) what time is it to come to the sea, swim, change clothes to have breakfast later?) Or vice versa, after breakfast in the hottest weather, go down to the beach…
In general, the staff would need to be tightened up, then there will be a top restaurant!

Mushroom soup and salads are delicious.
But the second one was old and tasteless. Penne with a strong smell and taste of fish. Yes, it's with spinach, but it tastes very strongly of fish.
Schnitzel with chicken is overcooked dough, and inside there is a thin layer of not fresh chicken either. And filled with a lot of sauces.
For such a price, you expect food for 5+, but here for 2+.
Slightly compensates for the sea and the view of the beach.

We waited for more than an hour (( but the waitress brought us a glass of good wine as a sign of apology. The staff is not very smiling, despite the absence of a large number of visitors in early October. 5 stars for the beauty of the views and design .

Thank you for organizing such a beautiful table, even though we were an hour late, the staff tried to please all our whims. Everything went the best way! Mussels in a creamy sauce with a crispy baguette - mussels are there and there is no sauce (which is traditionally at least a third of the pan to dip the baguette in it), so slightly on small mussels.
I ask the burger if you bake the buns yourself, yes they say, but I didn't specify how fresh they are)))
In general, the chefs stole something or we were so lucky or we were spoiled by higher-quality establishments.
The prices are Moscow, the dishes are simple as in the dining room. I almost forgot the menu- it's just a disgrace - it's disgusting to pick up a scuffle, torn, taped on both sides, tin, how can this be allowed, it doesn't fit in my head.
But the view from the window is just amazing.
And don't be surprised if guests will smoke a lot and often at a table next to you, despite the fact that you are with children.
It is not forbidden, so it is absolutely necessary.

To my clarifying question to the waiter: are giant mussels kiwi mussels, I received an affirmative answer. As a result, the declared giant mussels turned out to be ordinary Black Sea mussels worth 850 rubles for a very small pot. For comparison, the average cost of such a dish in cafes and restaurants in Sukhum, at a level identical to a Seagull, is 500-700 rubles! At the same time, the yield of mussels is almost 1.5-2 times higher.

We were advised this place and a group of guys and I ate there literally every day, from morning to night. (the service function on the beach is very convenient) everything is unrealistically delicious!!! The portions are large. Cocktails are just top. Very beautiful! Nice music. Definitely - I recommend it! I just fell in love with it instead of 🥹🥹🥹 I want to go back there again 🥹💔

This is an absolutely amazing place. If you came to Sukhum and never got to the beach "on the Seagull", then you went in vain.
The beach is good, but above the beach stands that very Seagull, which is simply impossible not to enter.
Incredibly good interior, great menu, pleasant service, and what views open to the sea from the veranda. . .
If you are there now or going to be there, then I envy you. Snow-white envy.

A beautiful modern place right on the seashore. You can eat and watch the waves. There is a terrace, and you can sit inside. Comfortable sofas, stylish design. Polite staff. Delicious khachapuri, burger Seagull, waffles, coffee tea. The prices are certainly not cheap, but acceptable. The Abkhazian cuisine is not here, European cuisine is served here.

I've been to this place several times. The restaurant is quite stylish, it is pleasant and cool to be in the heat, amazing sea views.
For the first time, I took khachapur from the breakfast menu. I liked everything. Khachapur is huge, I had to take it with me.
The next time, the kitchen was not so happy: sometimes the soup is too spicy, sometimes the fruit tea is too sour, mussels with Dor Blue cheese seem to be made from raw ice cream, etc.
At the same time, the prices, according to my feelings, are like in Moscow restaurants.
Cards are not accepted for payment, only cash or transfer.

We decided to have dinner with my husband in the evening, but unfortunately, we got to the event in the hall, sat down on the veranda. They warned us that the wait would be long, so it was, but there were no more options and we stayed.
The noise, loud music, the milling of people nearby, who were standing almost on their heads behind their backs, was annoying, but.. we knew there was a banquet.
I asked the waiter girl to roast a medium rer steak, she asked "what kind??" and then said that she did not promise, they say how it would turn out, they always cook differently and cooks can't control it. Very interesting 😂 I said OK, you can be a medium, but I asked that the meat was not dry and overcooked. As a result, the steak came full of shoes, there was no opportunity to call the official and "appeal" it, they did not pay attention to us, the banquet is in the first place, the rest are not interested, apparently. The wait was long, I was hungry and ate the meat. But such a good thing should be returned back, because it's a horror. I've never seen such dry meat in a steak before. It was not chewed, bitten, cut or swallowed.
Drying steaks to the state of a shoe is an indicator of incompetence for a restaurant of this level, as well as not knowing at all the degree of roasting meat to the waiters and telling the visitor - well, how it will turn out. All the other dishes ordered were also so-so, on solid 3, where there are 3 shrimp in salads and a bunch of leaves even without sauce.
The view during the day is probably beautiful, the interior too, but the food is no more than 3. Not tasty.

We came in from the beach in swimsuits, there were no forbidding signs, we were choosing from the menu, we initially wanted to take everything with us, but the administrator immediately flew up to us to expel us for improper appearance, threatening with a fine of 6 thousand rubles
We immediately left, changed our clothes and returned, but now that we had chosen what to order, no one was in a hurry to us, they begged for the waiter to come up to us and take the order
Of the advantages: the restaurant is pleasant, the view is gorgeous
From the cons: from what we took, tempura shrimp are delicious, but the burgers are generally disgusting, no sauce, no taste, everything is cut into huge piles, it is impossible to eat it, no grilled shrimp, fries are withered and without salt, but khachapuri is delicious
We will definitely not return to this institution anymore

Large upholstered chairs are not comfortable and all the seats are dirty in stains, there is no place to wash your hands before dinner, the toilet is on the street, you need to go through vacationers or smoking workers to get to it (we were lucky and we almost tripped over a basin of greenery that was hosed down right on the floor near the toilets), the waiter is so and I didn't get there, they called a girl from the hall to make an order (the menus were lying on the table before us), the girl was polite, but everything took an awfully long time, the food was brought first to one, the others sat watching, then we switched places, alcoholic drinks were brought at the end of the meal, although everywhere they do it first

I will not recommend your establishment to any worthy acquaintance, much less to a restaurateur. The service is separate, the quality is separate, and when there is neither one nor the other, such efforts and expenses on the external image go to 0.

We agreed, we came in a good mood
But! No
We wanted to take coffee with us and go to the sea to wait for the opening
I offered cappuccino in a plastic transparent glass (which is not intended for hot drinks) I offered oriental coffee instead of cappuccino (thanks, but no)
The music is loud, what he says is not audible
My friend tells me that this music is already annoying me. Let's go to the sea (wait for the opening without coffee) and leaves
And while I was going out, I heard so much rudeness in my address :
- you annoy us too
- come and stand over your soul
- be rude to me
- leave the place
And all in this spirit, until I left the cafe, he continued to say something, but it was impossible to make out the words further because of the music
I was with a small child, the child was shocked by such aggression, I was completely out of it, it became genuinely scary.
We are from Sochi, we come very often and there is no desire to visit this place anymore
The owner has invested so much soul and money in this establishment. It's so beautiful, stylish and you can see with what trepidation every detail is thought out
But the staff is the bottom
You can't behave like that with guests nowadays
