Chichkhan or sea buckthorn is the best cafe in Gyumri. Excellent national cuisine, homemade food, prepared with love according to family, traditional recipes. The drinks are very tasty, especially we liked the homemade pomegranate and sea buckthorn wine, which we were treated to by the friendly host of the establishment. He advised me what to order. The dishes are just a palette of flavors! The atmosphere is very warm and friendly.We went twice, and we liked everything!

A wonderful cafe in the historical center of the city. All the dishes that we managed to try were very tasty and fresh. Personal favorites: kebab, hash and homemade wine.

If you want to try really delicious and lovingly cooked dishes in Gyumri, come here. Everything is so delicious that you can eat it with appliances! Be sure to take cheese achma and panrahash. I've never eaten anything more extraordinary. I recommend washing it down with either sea buckthorn wine or pomegranate juice. Although we also liked the sea buckthorn vodka, it is strong, rather for men. Many thanks to the host and hostess. We will definitely come back!

The best cafe with national home cooking in the region! Achma, lamajo, kebab in dough and whitefish from Sevan itself! And what a hash they make!!! We came for three days in a row while we were in Gyumri, and every time we tried something new and incredibly delicious! Do not give up the pomegranate wine and vodka on the mulberry tree! Some dishes and drinks are prepared according to branded secret recipes! A warm welcome, pleasant atmosphere, and friendliness are what you need for a pleasant appetite! Have you ever tried spinach cake, sweet spinach cake? Very unusual and delicious!

The Achma here is wonderful, but we mostly drank here. There is sea buckthorn wine with honey for lovers of sweet drinks. And there's a great pomegranate dry.
Both types of wine are made well - we had to buy them with us, we don't know what they pour there in Yerevan yet.)

It was the last evening of our first trip to Armenia. We arrived in Gyumri, looked for a place to have dinner, opened reviews on Yandex and came to Chichkhan.
Everything they say in the reviews is true! Armen and Kristina don't just know how to cook, they share their warmth. Beautiful and good people have the same food (many have already written about pomegranate and sea buckthorn wine here).
We stayed up late in the evening, and in the morning we came for fresh gata.
We will definitely come back and bring friends!
We are ready to recommend this place to everyone.

This is a truly incredible place! Without any unnecessary curtsies, if you want REAL local food, go here. I happened to get to dinner with my wife when the owner of the establishment was present in the hall. It's a magical atmosphere of delicious family food and welcoming atmosphere. The place is simple in its interior, but the food and atmosphere are excellent. We took a kebab in dough, potatoes and lamajo. Everything was on top. I will especially mention homemade wines: pomegranate and sea buckthorn.
The only thing is a long wait for the dishes (set the time if you come for one day). We waited 40-50 minutes, but the drinks were brought right away

Guys, this is the best place in town! You will not eat such an achma anywhere else in Armenia! A pleasant family cafe where you will be met, deliciously fed and will tell you something interesting! The barbecue is cooked by the owner of the establishment - very tasty! Wine, sea buckthorn compote and whatever you order, bite off your fingers! I recommend it from the bottom of my heart!

I recommend trying homemade sea buckthorn wine, it is very tasty and unusual. Sea buckthorn vodka is also super, about 50 degrees, but you won't feel them.
Lamajo is excellent, as is the kebab with cheese in the dough.

Nice place, cool, really involved host. For God's sake, remove the cucumbers from the Caesar, it greatly spoils the taste of the salad! And make a richer dressing.

My friends and I have been to this cafe several times. We don't recommend it, we just insist that everyone get here! Everything here is delicious from the word ENDLESSLY!
This is the best place in Gyumri. That Sooooo rare case when everything is fine: the atmosphere, comfort, amazingly delicious food and wine.

I highly recommend it. They cook delicious food. And right after the order, so you'll have to wait. But this is a guarantee of freshness! They serve you very sincerely. And it was just nice to chat. A good cafe where you can eat relatively inexpensively and deliciously in Gyumri. You can pay with a card, the portions are very large and hearty, cheese tortillas of different types. We tried achma, we didn't regret it. The impressions were very good: the owner of the cafe met us and treated us to homemade sea buckthorn wine from a huge bottle - this is the feature of this institution.
