Unfortunately, the further you are from the center, the harder it is for pedestrians. It is difficult for a healthy person to cross such a pedestrian crossing, which already concerns the elderly, children and the disabled. No wheelchair ramps, broken railings
A nice neighborhood , lots of shops and cool places , there is a square for walking and just sitting , even pigeons can be fed near the Gagarin monument
This is the first residential quarter of Chilonzar district. When it was built, it was popularly called Cheryomushki. The houses are mostly brick. Warm ones. The block is surrounded by greenery. The trees were planted by the residents themselves, as elsewhere in Tashkent. They took care of them themselves. It was easy then. Water flowed in the ditches. There are almost no ditches now. And they don't let water in them. They don't plant trees either. And most importantly, no, no, and they throw nets with garbage right on the sidewalks. And the wipers have nothing to do with it, they don't clean up after everyone. What I am describing concerns any quarter of Chilonzara.
The very first block in the area. The construction of the first houses began in the mid-1950s. The tragic Tashkent earthquake of 1966, when most of the city was destroyed, the sturdy houses of the 1st quarter easily withstood. There is a lot of greenery in the courtyards. Half of the block is built up with high-rise buildings. 2 schools, 4 kindergartens. Most of the residents are Russian-speaking, many were born and raised in this place, then raised their children. Therefore, on the 1st quarter of Chilanzar, when many people know many, the special atmosphere of good neighborliness does not disappear.
I've been living here for 13 years now. Everything is fine, everything is nearby: shopping center, bus stops, shops, metro. The area is calm, even if you walk until morning. But nothing special)
The area is good, but the work of the HOA is disgusting. Dirt, abandoned unfinished work, terrible and dangerous playgrounds, no cameras and cars are often opened.
