A chic and very unusual place that can conquer not only young visitors, but also adults!Last year we took the children there and rode the steam train!
Just a couple of weeks ago, we decided to visit this wonderful place again, the Ayrenik station with a steam train!☺️
We saw a depressing picture - everything is abandoned!!! Teenagers are not shy about either us or other visitors like us, literally - they fuck this cute train, knock out the last windows, as I understand it, in order to cut off a couple of kilograms of copper wires with subsequent scrap!To be honest, my heart ached - it's just a pity!!!
It's a very nice place, there are both trains and wagons, and we even went there in 2023. It's a beautiful train station, but everything is so shabby and battered. It is a pity that such beauty is disappearing! In January 2025, I noticed that the station was being painted white, at least they were doing something! I am ready to donate for the restoration, this place is very dear to my children)
Pysy heard that some vandals broke the locomotive, and indeed the last time there was no locomotive, only old wagons. Is this really true? What kind of creatures could do this?
A very interesting location, located to the side, you will not accidentally get there. A beautiful building, even the stained glass windows have been preserved. People come to take pictures). We recommend you to visit.
I really love these places with history, it's like a time machine- Bang! And he got into the past. It's atmospheric, it's wonderful, as if I've been in a movie: the old station building with stained glass windows, a steam locomotive, a carriage..
It's a cool, colorful place. Entering through a tunnel, the atmosphere of an abandoned park. It's great to take a walk and realize the meaning of the power of the surrounding nature. And how quickly it takes its toll by absorbing what a person does not look after and does not take care of!
I don't even know what grade to give. I came across a park with a railway road by accident. The view is very deplorable, more suitable for filming horror films. It's a pity for the former beauty and the idea of a children's railway is good... was. The city does not even have money for the maintenance of the building built under the Soviet Union. And the river is nearby, into which all the city's drains are drained... And once upon a time, according to the project of the chief architect of the city, it was supposed to be a place of outdoor recreation for all citizens and guests...
A wonderful place to walk and explore. A mountain river flows nearby, and there are many lizards running around. Take water with you for a walk, do not go close from the beginning to the end, but on the road without shops, of course) you will need to take another walk, a cool place) autumn is a pity that the railway is not working already....
Of course, this is just a throwaway now, the locomotive was sawn for scrap when we were there, it's dirty. A beautiful stained glass window is broken, and the glass is still lying around.The bas-reliefs of the pioneers are still alive.Everything is shabby. Now there is a place for romantic meetings of schoolchildren.
If you like this format, then I recommend visiting it.
The children's railway has turned into a derelict like a cable car station. It was estimated as a cast of the USSR era. It's sad, of course, but it is what it is.
It's a pity that the place is abandoned. I hope they'll put it in order. A beautiful station building with stained glass windows, unfortunately, half lost. And the locomotive with the furnace is impressive.
The passage to it is through a colorful tunnel.
There is nothing to do with children there, but the place for walking is pleasant, teenagers and lovers of abandonments will like it. Despite its age and abandonment, the station building is in good condition. There are wagons and a steam locomotive.
You can walk along the paths. There is a tunnel
Unfortunately, I did not read the review before visiting. When we came to the "entrance" offered by Yandex, there was a garbage dump nearby, broken asphalt, and scattered garbage could be seen down the slope. Abandoned carousels and uncut grass were visible from below, and dogs could be heard barking. I was afraid to go down there with the child even, in case the dogs attack. We were hoping to see a working road.
The park is in terrible condition,
It is not maintained in a normal and well-maintained condition, a meeting place for strange people.
Remnants of Soviet attractions (especially fenced electric go-karts from childhood).
If you are attracted to places that are deserted in time, then you are here.
The railway is not working, the place is abandoned at first glance, but at the same time people were cleaning the territory there, there may be plans to restore work. It would be great, the place is very atmospheric.
It's interesting to visit once. Atmospheric devastation. You can climb the wagons. There is a river nearby. If you go by rail, you can get to the Ararat factory.
The place is in desolation, but you can see (draw in imagination) how beautiful it was once. On weekends, in good weather, the train operates. Tickets cost 400 drams per person. A train of two trailers is sent without a schedule as soon as there is at least some filling.
A beautiful Soviet abandoned car - it's a pity that such a unique attraction no longer works.
Even the engines in the locomotives have not been disassembled.
It's a very sad sight. We wanted to go for a ride but got into a post-apocalyptic world. The atmosphere is insanely entourage, but it is clear that everything has been running for 5 years and continues to fall apart. I can't imagine how it can be restored and who will do it. Although there are also pockets of devastation all over the city.
I'm writing what I saw. There are rusty rails, broken wagons, a motionless diesel locomotive and destroyed stations. The rails are attached along the Hrazdan River. There is a tunnel marked with the year 1956. Apparently, it used to be very cool and beautiful.
Well..
interesting,
The road doesn't work, it's interesting to wander

One of the cool tourist spots has now been destroyed. Less than a month after the announcement of the closure of this railway, almost all the stained glass windows were smashed, and now the facade of the building is also being vandalized. The mayor's office of the city should be very ashamed, but I doubt that they are capable of experiencing this feeling!
A beautiful abandoned place
The architecture is wow, even the stained glass windows are left
There is a working railway in my city, it was interesting to find out what kind there are in other cities, because rarely where they are
An atmospheric place, I really like to walk along the railway and further along the embankment. The longest park place for walking in Yerevan.
Yesterday afternoon we saw a big snake in the dry grass, be careful!
A wonderful throwback and Instagram location! The river Hrazdan flows nearby, there is a swimming pool in it. And there is also a street with exercise equipment.
A semi-abandoned attraction for an amateur. In summer it is very picturesque, there are many trees. During a train trip, you can pick mulberries from the branches along the way. The children are delighted.
A strange place to visit, wasted time👎
- the whole area is either abandoned or semi-abandoned;
- it's also a pleasure to ride on the train itself: the train and the wagons are old (not vintage!), everything is shabby, the diesel engine smokes mercilessly;
- you can't buy tickets with a bank card, only with cash;
- it seems that it is forbidden to enter the railway station building, but it is clearly dangerous due to the emergency situation of the building;
- it's not interesting to walk along the river: everything around is not equipped, there is garbage everywhere
Abandoned. Garbage is everywhere. Give us back our childhood! Is it really impossible to find investors, invest a minimum of money and bring the children's railway back to life?
The place is a little scary in view of its abandonment. However, I like it at the same time. As if at one moment everything stopped working except for one train. I think this is the best place within Yerevan for walking, the route is quite long and beautiful.

A cool atmospheric place, suitable for lovers of antiquity, abandonment and post-apocalypse. If you make repairs, clean and restore, it will also be cool with its own special entourage
