We flew this airline for the first time to the Maldives via Guangzhou. Business class. All flights are clearly on schedule, the planes are new, the business has comfortable armchairs, the bed was half full, and in one of the segments 3 places in the business were occupied by air marshals - they ate and slept the whole flight) In terms of maintenance, everything depends very much on the crews, compared to our AF they do not reach. Travel kits are scarce, there is no cream and perfume. Pajamas were not given on the night flight from Moscow to Guangzhou, while they were distributed on the day flight from Guangzhou to Male) The food on the flights is European and Chinese, we took European, I will not say that it is very tasty and without frills. There is an interesting story about drinks in general. On the flight from Moscow there were also strong drinks Chivas, gin, etc.), wine and champagne (I did not like sourness), and their branded tea, which was stated on the airline's website. They were the only ones who didn't have it. On the flight from Guangzhou (and this, for a moment, is their main port), there were no strong drinks at all. The husband first asked for whiskey before dinner, they say "it's over", cognac - "too", well, bring gin - "it's over".. How is it, we say, that everything "ended" if we just flew out?) But there was their signature tea, which was eventually dispensed with)) By the way. the tea is really very tasty and unusual. On the flight from Male, there were very friendly and polite flight attendants, they constantly went and asked if we wanted anything, on other flights they did not try very hard and did not smile. We had a 5-hour docking in Guangzhou, spent in the business lounge, but this is a separate story and experience)) Summary - flying with them is calm and safe, the price for BC is very pleasant, but you need to take into account some specifics))
This is the first time we fly with this airline, we started checking in later than we should have, after starting work, we put together a meeting for 20 minutes to decide how many counters will work, since there are few of us, only 280 people can stand and wait longer, after finding out, we went to the counter, the workplace was not ready, we had to wait until everything was fixed there! Then they invited us for 1 hour on boarding and what, and there again the same staff, whom even snails would overtake, we stood for 50 minutes, and they chatted sweetly with each other, and then they started nervously calling somewhere and finding out something, as a result, the flight was delayed for an hour, but no one even warned us, that's it they stood like morons at the exit of the plane. Complete incompetence, if you don't want to work in a human-related field, don't get involved. They recruited some kind of rabble. Manager or whatever it is, it's generally a separate kind of art!!!
It's the best airline for me. I've flown back and forth to Japan and Seoul twice. Tickets are very affordable. On long flights, they are fed twice, they give fresh fruits, pineapple, dragon fruit. And between meals, they offer sandwiches. Polite flight attendants and wonderful staff at the airport check-in.
