Meal was oversalted.and oily. Meat wasn’t the best, potatoes salty, oily, cold and came before the meat.
Teas is weak.
Lemons cut by a child with chunky slices.
Very disappointing.
It's a great place. It is located in the old town. The food is very tasty. The portions are huge, the assortment is not rich, but you can choose both the first and the second. The prices are reasonable
The waiters are smart and polite
There is live music
You can sit on the veranda in the fresh air.
We went as a family, we liked everything, the child is very happy, the food is very tasty, the portions are good, you can sit on the veranda, you can book in advance so that there is a place, we were lucky because we came without reservation.
Live music is playing.
The waiters are polite and welcome at the entrance, they will tell you immediately where it is free and you can sit and eat.
!!It's cool, we'll come again
I do not recommend it, there are plenty of more worthy places nearby, I went in because of the external beauty of the building. One star to the cook - everything is delicious. They sit down in the dining room, if there are free tables in beautiful halls, they cheat when calculating. I went in, asked about the terrace, they said it was possible. She got up. There are repairs on the highway. They didn't plant it there. Then they took me to a beautiful hall on the 2nd floor. 10 tables were definitely empty. 2-3 are busy. Then they decided that it was not worth putting one person here, because the tables were beautifully set for larger companies, they took me and another guy who was already sitting at the table there choosing a menu back to the first floor in a side hall with a level and interior of market cafes. I ordered lamb, lagman and pilaf. We sat in complete silence, listening to the slurping of other tables, although there is a TV there, we could at least turn on the music. After trying the first two dishes, they asked you to pack, I say I'm waiting for more pilaf, it turned out there was no pilaf. I searched for pilaf in the city for three days, by the evening there is not much of it left, when I came in I asked if there was pilaf, they said yes. There are a lot of maintenance staff, useless. Then I asked for the bill, he counted 190,000 on the calculator, I counted it myself, taking a photo from the menu in advance, and charged 15% for the service, it turned out to be almost 20,000 less. I asked where else 18,000 came from? I counted it correctly the second time.
Tasty, inexpensive, large portions. The staff works quickly. I liked the dumplings. You can pay bills without waiting for the waiter downstairs at the checkout. Just by saying the table number. A lot of foreigners were brought in for lunch, so it was necessary to eat before them.
A great restaurant with great cuisine! Everything was delicious, the staff was friendly, the service was five. I really liked the restaurant, I can recommend it.
Great cuisine!
We were with a tour group at lunch. The whole group of 16 people were very satisfied. We ate salads, soup with meatballs and manti! All with a Bang!! In the evening we went to dinner with our families. Everything was very tasty and wonderful - shish kebab, meat, salads are all great!
Many thanks to the chefs and especially to the waiter Ichthyor for a great and delicious evening!
Sincerely recommended to visit!Only in the season when there is a large tourist flow, it is better to book a table in advance.
Delicious pilaf and lagman, good service, convenient that you do not have to wait for the bill, but you can pay at the checkout by table number.
Disgusting kebabs, it's a shame, but they just don't know how to cook them.
Lamb 6 pieces of 2 fat, 1 raw, 1 bone
Lumpy - the edges are not fried, dry and tasteless
Chicken is the only one that can still be eaten, BUT chicken also comes with bones!
Lyulyakebab is absolutely tasteless and the edges of the shish kebab are also not fried ...
Tea bags - in my opinion, the price tag is too high for a package!
I dined there about 5 times - ordering different types of kebabs and each time it was a fiasco....
We came here because of the reviews...
we didn't like any of the dishes, the prices are higher than other local establishments and the portions are smaller. Ordinary fresh plastic vegetables like from pyaterochka ...
Branded soup (which should be clarified if there is) resembles cabbage soup with mutton... The mantas are over-salted... Pickled cabbage is simply soaked in something (not pickled)... The tea was barely brewed (thanks for changing it).
In general, it is an ordinary TOURIST place. I do not recommend it.
Good day! We went to this restaurant for lunch. Nice staff. Although the veranda was closed, they offered to open it if we wanted. But we went inside. It's warmer there. There were plenty of visitors (unlike other establishments), but there were places. Delicious pilaf, manti. People ordered kebabs, obviously knowing their quality.
Slow service (as everywhere else).
The prices are not great!!! (Unlike other establishments)
15% Service fee (as everywhere)
I thought for a long time, but I took off one star for the toilet.... It's like the old train stations, but very clean.
In general, I definitely recommend it!!! Especially in the Center
Admittedly, the place is beautiful. But the service, the culture of communication of the waiters and the quality of the dish just sucks. It really sucks.
We ordered soup with dumplings. The order was delivered in 40 minutes. It's good that the order was brought.
And tea was served only after 10 minutes of serving the soup.
We made a remark to the waiter, and he started snapping at us, while blaming us for making a low-value order.
Then we tried the dumplings. This is not soup with dumplings, but as if soapy tap water where 6 pieces of dumplings were put. The filling of the dumplings is raw, not ready. Broth, if you can call it broth, is impossible to drink. In general, it sucks completely.
I would put 0.5 stars, I just don't know how to do it.
Who reads this review, I advise you not to visit this institution
Great restaurant! All the dishes are cooked at the highest level. The service is excellent - the staff and waiters are polite. The atmosphere is cozy, where you want to come again. Saint-Petersburg.
We came to eat pilaf. The pilaf is excellent, one of the best tasted in Bukhara, lots of chickpeas.
It seemed strange that the pilaf starts to be served only at 12:30. There are minor maintenance issues, but in general it pulls 5.
Let's go to the cafe according to the reviews .The check is average .The service is direct , not a single empty plate was removed during the stay in the process .The food is delicious, but not great. The shish kebab is medium -harsh .And what surprised me very much was tea from a tea bag , at the price of a custard .A place for tourists .And by the way, it says opening hours from 11 a.m. , in the morning we went in - we were told that the cafe was open from 12 p.m.
It is a must-visit place. It is considered one of the best cafes. The atmosphere is decent, the food is delicious. Although there are no bad establishments there. This place is more for tourists.
A cozy place with a national flavor, delicious food with a beautiful presentation. Good service, trained staff. I was pleased with the live music, I definitely recommend it!!! A real gastronomic tour, a variety of national dishes, gave an unforgettable taste experience, just a cannon!!! Top for tourists!!!
After reading good reviews, we decided to go to dinner. I didn't like it. There is no atmosphere. The tables are dirty. The staff doesn't really care about the guests. The dishes are not tasty, they do not match the ingredients shown in the photo on the menu. Very sorry for the wasted evening!
Chinor is more suitable for tourists who travel in a group. Everything here is designed for flow, but not for the quality of food and service. My husband and I traveled together and became hostages of mass advertising, where this place is considered one of the most popular.
As a result, I want to note several aspects:
- Seating of the guests of the establishment. Initially, we decided to sit on the second floor, but it turned out to be very hot under the canopy. Then, at our request, they tried to transplant us several times, but we always interfered with the planned seating of tourists.
- Food and drinks. I decided to take a win-win option - lamb kebab and mojito. The mojito turned out to be Tarhun lemonade with mint leaves, which surprised me a little. But it seemed to me that it was nothing and I decided to wait for the barbecue. Unfortunately, besides the fact that I waited a very long time for him for 30-40 minutes, he turned out to be half inedible. The portion was small and the main piece turned out to be all fat and streaked, which you can't even really cut through. There was also a small bone that could be overlooked and a tooth broken. The cafe staff assured me that they always have such mutton and ignored my request to replace the kebab.
These are the impressions left by this institution.I am writing a review in order to have fewer disappointed people who want to fully taste the delicious cuisine of Uzbekistan.
It's a nice restaurant. It was delicious, atmospheric, and a violinist played on the day of my visit. I liked all the food very much. The staff is very polite and pleasant. The waiter who served us deserves praise.
Positive
It's juicy and delicious!
It is better not to order a vegetable kebab (I attach a photo of eggplant).
Mutton kebab needs to be lived a little bit before it is cooked.
The staff runs, but does not have time, weakly.
Chinor is very popular among the residents of Bukhara...The tables are almost always occupied...The food is delicious, that's the whole conversation. Prices don 't bite .
We had lunch at the cafe with very tasty lamb kebabs, pilaf, samsa. Friendly staff, excellent cafe, delicious food. We will definitely recommend it to friends and acquaintances.
On the second floor, all the places under the wooden roof are reserved for groups of tourists. Other places are under a plastic roof that does not protect from the sun - it is very hot. The pilaf was normal. Lamb kebab - a lot of fat , streaks, ate less than half. They refused to change it - they said it should be so. A very popular place for tourist groups. Because of this, the service and the kitchen suffer . It is designed purely for groups of tourists.
An interesting restaurant with a terrace on the 2nd floor, which has a better view of the city. In the summer evening, the climate is very good there.
The food is fine, the prices are reasonable, the waiters are normal, the food is prepared quickly enough 15...25 min. They listen to small wishes.
On the recommendation of local residents, we decided to have dinner.Evening, almost all the halls are filled, we found a table for two people, ordered a lamb shish kebab, chopped shish kebab salad, prices are normal, do not bite....But! We waited for it all, we waited 40 minutes, someone couldn't stand it, left without even making an order, lamb kebab, 2 pieces of fat+3 pieces of meat, bitter, did not like it.The chopped shish kebab is excellent.I'm lowering my score for waiting.
✅Advantages:
It is located in the historical part of the city
Delicious
Large portions
A lot of people means a lot of traffic and everything is fresh
🚫 Cons:
There are a lot of people - it's noisy and there's not always a place where you want to sit down
The staff is shouting from floor to floor
There is no menu - the guys are very diligent in explaining what can be ordered. But it's not very convenient
Price:
The prices are average. Lunch for 4 people (two guys and two girls) came out at 360.000 soums
The cradle is delicious.
There is no lamb kebab.
Eggplant salad is medium.
The photo on the menu does not match what will be served.
The prices are high, you expect much more pleasant prices from an institution of this level. We gave 380 tons of money for two.
A very unpleasant surprise turned out to be the beer prices, which we learned about from the bill (they were not on the menu)
As a result, the overall score is 2 points.
During the week of traveling in Uzbekistan, we felt deceived for the first time.
Convenient location, atmospheric, delicious! Several halls and a veranda on the roof. The price tag is aimed at tourists, but this is compensated by the professionalism of the chefs. During rush hour, the staff is "washed up", but the guys are responsive and customer-oriented! I recommend you to visit! Solid four!
I really liked this cafe, the prices are lower than the tourist areas, everything is delicious, fresh and quite large portions. I really liked the pilaf, lump kebab and homemade potatoes. I recommend you to visit.
It's a good place, there are indoor halls and an outdoor veranda upstairs. Delicious mushroom salads with cucumbers and eggplant salad. Barbecue for 4, cradle for 4+, cook quickly, the waiters try their best. Wine is expensive, so the restaurant, after all, people write that they came with their alcohol, paid only the cork fee, did not check. The open veranda gives you the opportunity to smoke, for some it is a minus, for me it is on the contrary. You can pay with the waiter, or you can at the cash desk on the ground floor at the exit. A lot of locals come here, which is an indicator.
We came by chance, but we were satisfied and we came twice more in the two days that we spent in Bukhara. The staff is polite, young energetic guys. The food is delicious, I especially recommend the eggplant salad!!! Lamb and pilaf are cooked deliciously. I don't like mutton, it smells to me, but even I liked it here. Green tea with mint and thyme is very good. In general, a decent place to eat and relax.
Half of the dishes are missing from the menu, the waiters will find out about it after ordering. As a result: there was no local soup (such as shurpa), there was no cauldron kebab, we ate only a hodgepodge with a strange taste, lula (although very tasty) and compote.
One of the most famous establishments in the historical center of the city.
The menu is varied, the prices are normal.
The guest rooms are located on two floors.
It is almost always crowded, which indicates the popularity of the place - tourists are often brought here by bus for lunch or dinner. But there is also a downside - it is not always possible to find a free table.

Cool!
Overall:
Great place, delicious food, friendly staff, authentic interior, affordable prices. There are always visitors (talking about the quality of the place), mostly ate there.
I advise everyone!!!
P.s 11:34
Delicious and pleasant prices for the locals! There is music playing in the evening - you can dance. We were in Bukhara for two days. We came here for dinner both days, because the price and quality were worth it!
The institution pleases with its national flavor and a cozy outdoor terrace on the second floor, but unfortunately its advantages end there. The serving of dishes is long, regardless of whether there are many visitors or few. We were here twice, the third time we definitely won't come 😅 Our order was waited for an hour, as a result, they brought us barely warm soup and the same vaguri, and instead of compote there was packaged cherry juice with a slice of lemon and a sprig of the district. In general, we ate and forgot.
I liked the place as a whole, we had a rest with a child. There is a children's chair (which is not everywhere), a good location, ate pilaf (good, but not the best), liked lagman. There is no children's menu and, alas, there is nothing for the child. The entrance is not convenient, it is not suitable for people with limited mobility
Eggplant salad is not fresh, eggplants are cold, sluggish, none. Beetroot does not match the photo in the menu. The room smells like bleach. They survive at the expense of groups of tourists, whose guides are either paid extra or fed
A terrible attitude towards their own. Mostly foreigners are well served. We sat for 40 minutes so that at least our order was accepted. I understand a lot of people. But sorry, they were already bringing food to those who came after us. We were with the children. We were hoping for a good attitude, but it seems we are second class to them. I don't understand what this behavior is for. It seems that we also pay money. We have already asked the administrator to do something. He said okay, I'll call you now, we sat for another 10 minutes and the dissatisfied ones left. Our failure was reported on the 1st floor. To which the chief administrator only waved at the waiter saying that they would not be accepted. That's all. Let's go to another restaurant in the Citadel. The atmosphere is a hundred times better. The staff is a hundred times better.
