September 2024. I liked the sanatorium in general. Excellent food, room cleaning. They are constantly replenishing water supplies and hygiene supplies. There is a toothbrush with toothpaste, a razor, a shower cap, cotton swabs and discs. There is a sewing kit. Ironing board and iron on request from the maid.
I liked the pool with a sauna complex. Beautiful territory. But we walked more outside the territory. I did not like that the price of the tour includes almost only naphthalene baths. Everything else is for an additional fee (mssage, paraffin, lymphatic drainage). We didn't take anything. We went for a massage once. It's just super. From the top of the head to the tips of the toes and hands.
In general, naphthalan baths are contraindicated if there are problems in a feminine way. And in the sanatorium there are no chamber baths only for hands and feet.
The staff is very friendly, the Managers will always help and tell you. Mostly guests from Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan and locals. Taxi drivers are standing next to the entrance, they will take you wherever you want. They offer excursions cheaper than in the sanatorium. Take cash with you. Rubles and dollars change everything. 10-15 minutes from the sanatorium there is a capital bank where you can change everything. The course is complete. Now a little bit about the limits of the sanatorium. You go out the gate and go to the right, skirting the sanatorium. You reach Turan. If you go to the left from Turan, then there is the center, there is also the bank. There is also a store 5 meters to the right of this bank. You can buy manats there via online transfer. But this process is not fast. It has apparently not been put on stream yet. Their exchange rate is better than in the bank. If you go to the right from Turan, there will be shops with souvenirs and basic necessities. One of them sells its own pomegranate wine, without sugar. And mulberry syrup, also without sugar, but it is very sweet in itself. We took it, we liked everything. A liter of pomegranate wine is 10 manats, 0.5 syrup is also 10. It's never been cheaper. The seller is a man, speaks Russian well.
For example, the Plane tree is a budget sanatorium Naftalan. We came to see it. We got into conversation with a vacationer. She said they were hungry. From the food borscht and buckwheat. But the treatment is the same. In general, we walked through many sanatoriums and talked. They are allowed to enter the territory. We visited Karabakh, which is considered the most pretentious. The territory there is more well-groomed. According to the treatment, they said that many procedures are also paid. Unlike Plane trees in Krabakh, they said there are chamber baths for hands and feet. On the street of the city, we met guests from the Kapyaz sanatorium. They said that paraffin is included in the price. the sanatorium itself is small and cozy. The food is ordinary and delicious. The price is much more affordable. We went to the Magical Naftalan. There, vacationers were seen buying water in a store. There were good reviews about the Nur sanatorium.
Some people come to Chinar for the 5th-8th time. They see the benefits. In general, the first thing I noticed was that the cramps in my legs disappeared after the baths. And the main effect is said to be noticeable after a month. We'll see.
As a hotel, it is beautiful. Walking through the grove is one bliss.Breakfast is the best thing about it, a huge thank you to the chef and staff. Great tea and music in the courtyard, the sound of the piano in the hall - everything is fine. I didn't like it as a hospital. All procedures are flashed, even diagnostics. Our 2 days were gone while we were waiting for the ultrasound doctor. The tour was not a success. We paid more, and did not have time for everything along the route. It's not worth going to the waterfall - it's a waste of time and money. The guide is not competent. It is better to find a good guide and come up with a route yourself. It's worth going to the cable car. I recommend it as a hotel. (the best)
I had a rest at the Chinar sanatorium. The staff is friendly, the service is good. The food in the dining room is monotonous, for 4 people. The standard rooms are very small. The prices for paid procedures are too high. The sanatorium does not pull five stars. Everything else is fine.
