A very majestic mountain, for a beginner- a female one! It's just a 6-kilometer ride from Paveletsky, and a short walk to the bottom, and then some 8,500 meters, it's easy, though it's minus 40 degrees Celsius, and every fourth person doesn't come back because there's a waterfall of beer at the top!
The mountain is very majestic and beautiful. Only mountains can be better than mountains. I have seen mountains many times. I've been to the Andes and the Himalayas. But as they used to amaze my mind with their greatness, so they continue to do so to this day. You're just a grain of sand compared to these giants.
And now I'll tell you how I remember this particular mountain.
Unprecedented heat has descended into the valley of the Indus River. +40⁰C. And down in India there are generally 70⁰C. It's stuffy everywhere. And there is such moisture around that it is impossible to breathe at +40. The rocks around heat up during the day, and at night they warm up the valley, do not let it cool down. The temperature drops only to +35 ° C. It is impossible to sleep, it is very hot. And I have to be here for another week. Yandex Weather says that the heat will begin to subside only after about 10 days. We need to cool down somehow. I went into this Indus mountain river nearby. I went in, and immediately my legs cramped, I couldn't resist and flew in a swirling stream of water. I almost flew into the waterfall, but well, the local people saw me and picked me up with a stick. I never went into this river again. Then I was able to cool off, but it only saved me for a couple of hours. And I began to look for an island of coolness in the midst of this stuffiness. And I found it! There, in the distance, the Chogori Mountain rises grandiosely. Warming has come there too, but there is no heat there! It's +23 there now. And I decided to go there. I walked half a day to its foot. I got there. After weeks of hiking in the mountains of Asia, my nails have become like wolverine's. I sharpened them with a stone in the middle of the mountain to cling to the ice, and climbed to the top. The claws clung well.
After an hour, I climbed in. Streams with crystal clear water ran down the glacier from the mountain. I was sitting on the angelic- white surface of the peak, drinking this purest water and I was blown by a warm, sea breeze from the Arabian Sea. There was a beautiful view of the jungles of India, the Pamir valleys, and the rocky mountains of Pakistan. There was silence around, only a light, warm, sea breeze from the Arabian Sea could break this truly summer silence. That's how I remember the top of this mountain.
It is also called K2. The second peak of the world. 8611 meters. It is considered the 4th peak in terms of difficulty, Everest occupies only the 7th place.
I wanted to go on the weekend, but on the website 7vershin gives 404, as a result, the hike failed. Okay
For those who ignore the roflers, I explain. I have great respect for the Himalayas. And my dream is to conquer K2, and I hope to complement my rofl with a real comment and photo

The height of the mountain is 8614 meters. The first ascent was made on July 31, 1954 by Lino Lacedelli and Achille Compagnoni (an Italian expedition led by Ardito Desio). 1
Chogori is known as "Savage Mountain" because of the extreme difficulty of climbing.
If you don't have enough climbing experience, then this is not what you are looking for.
This mountain has taken a lot of human lives. Only a few were able to do it, and even after the first wonderful ascent, if they wanted to go up there for the second or third time, they stayed on it forever! The force of nature is still more powerful than man, and to entertain illusions about conquering these forces is fatal for the body and, first of all, for the immortal soul!
I went there on vacation. The 11th bus goes up, though it doesn't go every day. The supervisors are very strict. Don't forget to wear a hat. Souvenirs at the top are not sold this year, so it's better to buy magnets for relatives at the bottom.
The most dangerous, terrible, majestic, but at the same time terribly alluring eight-thousandth. The eastern side took too many lives, but I don't think any of the dead regretted their attempt. I will definitely visit here someday.

It's a cool place. I like to walk along the eight-thousand-meter peaks. I went up there a couple of times. 👌
Not Everest, of course, but it's not bad either, the main thing is not to stumble, I had to climb from the very bottom three times... watch your step if you don 't want to roll down for half an hour and then climb up again for 4 hours
I was there, I liked it, the wind is 200 km per hour, the air temperature is minus 30 and there is nothing to breathe.
I strongly do not recommend this place to visit.
