And so, the Chorsu bazaar itself is very colorful, colorful, you can walk for hours and watch the national, diverse goods. I love this bazaar. But about food, prices are not low, sanitation is low on the contrary.😅 Yes, the variety of dishes is something, but not all dishes are the best there. And so I recommend guests to visit this place, we do not have such an attraction in all cities. Minus, it's hard to organize salads and kefir there.
We had heard about this place, and we went to see it, but the people were eating so well that we also stopped to eat pilaf. We took 2 pilafs, a flatbread, and tea. Everything is delicious.
However, during the calculation, the owners counted something for a long time both in their minds and on the calculator and gave us the sum of 110,000 soums. Of course, this price is not for a gluttonous row, but nevertheless we did not argue after a delicious lunch, we paid and went on to walk and watch the market.
I recommend the place, you need to see and eat at least once.
It's a colorful place, you enter and you are enveloped in smoke from coals, a mixture of smells of fried meat, samsa, vegetables. It's very simple, the oilcloth is on the table, there are a lot of local people around and tourists like us. We took kebabs, it was delicious, but there was enough fat, it was satisfying, we took a salad of vegetables separately, but this is just a song, what kind of tomatoes are here.... For the entire lunch of three mini kebabs, samsa, half a flatbread and 2 vegetable salads, we gave 135 thousand sums, which is 860 rubles for our money. A must-visit. But it's worth considering the sanitation requirements here.
The secret is that the best Uzbek cuisine in Tashkent is here. Of course, you can sit in the national luhari restaurant for millions of soums, but you will be served the same food from the same products. Here, on an oilcloth tablecloth, you can try everything in Uzbek cuisine at ridiculous prices and definitely not be disappointed. What can I say, even such a delicious tea you are unlikely to find anywhere else. I won't talk about the atmosphere - this is an oriental bazaar, what you need to explore Uzbekistan.
Some people like the markets, others don't. Everything here, of course, is for the very, very squeamish. I don't understand how you can buy freshly squeezed juice when the seller takes the money, scratches his head and squeezes the juice with his hands, not only without gloves, but even without washing his hands. Or tortillas, sugar, and everything else that everyone walks by and shakes dirt and dust.
Gluttonous rows are generally for extreme athletes. Sanitary standards are not about them. If you really want to eat something, at least don't look too closely at the dirty dishes, the appearance of the chefs, and everything on, next to, and under the stove. I was experimenting, I will say that I was not poisoned by either pilaf or salad, but I could not eat for a couple of days after that (memories of Chorsu interfered).
And yet: if you are Russian in appearance, the price for everything is different for you at times. And at first there is one price, in the process there is another, and when you pay, it is already the third. It's very frustrating. And the annoying sellers, as they begin to attack, I want not only to buy, but to escape from there.
I liked the market. I recommend everyone to try freshly squeezed pomegranate juice. It is very tasty here: sweet and tart. They also took fresh figs, pistachios, halva. They ate samsa in a local cafe - it was very tasty. There was also a pilaf to taste, there was a long queue behind it - it was disassembled instantly.
I strongly do not recommend it. It's very dirty, noisy, and doesn't have much of a local flavor. In addition, they sell kebabs for foreigners, whether lumpy, ground, or liver, for a single price of 20,000 soums. Ground, tasteless from the word at all, the liver is not fried. Onions are given very little. In the center, in a cafe restaurant, in a cleaner environment, you can eat from 14,000 to 18,000 soums. It's a very long wait, and the locals are served first.
You can buy literally everything here. And if you negotiate very well, the exchanger is also here))). The sellers are very friendly, but keep in mind, this is the east and they like to bargain here.
They give you everything to try, where without it. Life is in full swing here, you can go for everything you need, spices, clothes, dried fruits, etc., and just for an excursion, it's quite informative. And if you also talk to the sellers, then you will get a lot of comprehensive information.
I was very disappointed with the staff's attitude towards the guests. This woman in the photo made me pay twice for drinks. They yelled at us with all the staff, demanding payment, even though we had paid for the order in full before it was delivered to us. Terrible unsanitary conditions: our forks were wiped with the same cloth as the table. Tashkent itself and the market really liked it until we went to this eatery.…
Of all the markets in Tashkent, this one, in my opinion, is the most convenient)) Good location, a very large selection of a wide variety of products, spices, drinks.
You can buy freshly squeezed pomegranate juice! 😊 All kinds of spices and tea for different weights are just a bomb)) 💣
Prices are different, something is cheaper, something is more expensive, but you can always bargain, sellers are happy to make concessions.
The market is very large, in addition to products, there are rows with clothes, souvenirs and other goods. There are many jewelry shops where you can buy a variety of gold and silver jewelry.
Security guards walk around the market, keeping order. People are all very friendly and responsive, they like to bargain))😆
Well, the prices are so-so. For these prices, you can already sit in a decent cafe, where there will be waiters. There are also doubts about hygiene. When they see visitors, they immediately start touting, prices are charged from the ceiling. You can walk around and take pictures, but I don't recommend eating.
Immerse yourself in the 90s... If you miss it, then a pleasant nostalgia awaits you on Chorsu. Rows... Clothing, food, perfumes, ceramics and much more... All side by side... Gold, vegetables, spices, nuts and dried fruits... In general, whatever your heart desires))) and don't forget to look into the gluttonous rows... Pilaf, kebabs, salads, teas and samsa... Authentic atmosphere... And most importantly... Don't forget to bargain... Otherwise disrespect... In the bidding, a true price is born that satisfies both sides... You are in the "East" or "Asia", call it what you want... It's a way of life here... Have fun, bargain... Spend your time having fun... Chorsu - master si! I recommend it!
In general, everything is cool, the food is delicious, first of all, the clothes are cheap, everything is popular, the simplicity of people's attitudes is excellent. I recommend it to everyone who wants to eat delicious food and make purchases
You can wander around this market all day. There are a lot of buildings, a large selection of everything, but the most important thing is bargaining, feel free to kill the price by exactly half and then slowly add a little bit and then bargain on the golden mean. Strawberries and cherries were bought the other day within 100 rubles per kg.
a very cozy place, cleanly gives Uzbek vibe 😍 that 's what street food is called in Uzbekistan ! a huge assortment, kebab pilaf khanym ... everything is delicious
A real oriental bazaar! In this market you can find everything your heart desires, from a bunch of greens to a needle (here you can find meat, fruits and vegetables, oriental sweets, tortillas ..... and needles))) It was a discovery for me "Zhorny Ryad', a place where they sell food cooked in front of you! An indescribable atmosphere of smells!
I strongly recommend visiting this market for those who want to see a real Oriental bazaar!
Oh, it's just an anthill of people, cars, tents and stalls with goods. You can probably buy everything here! And most importantly, there are always money changers at the central gate with a favorable exchange rate of the local currency))) Don't forget to bargain! It is very convenient that there is an exit from the subway, from which you immediately get to the epicenter of the atmosphere of the oriental bazaar. We lived nearby and Chorsu station was a guide for us to return to the hotel in the evening, but as it turned out, at night everything is not the same as during the day. After leaving the subway, we got lost in endless rows of bars and empty tents. Thanks to the caring woman, she took us to the main street, from where we safely reached our hotel.
Wonderful authentic cuisine. They cook very well. You can find everything from food, fruits, spices, to very tasty tea. As in any market, you have to bargain.
As usual, there are too many people. Quite a variety of products. Starting from the simplest and most everyday items and ending with jewelry. Definitely, all guests of our capital need to visit this bazaar.
A large selection of vegetables, fruits, berries, and herbs. There are a lot of national clothes, dishes, souvenirs.
I liked everything. I dream of coming back to Tashkent and to the Chorsu market, of course.
The oldest market in the capital. Every day, several thousand people trade here, several tens of thousands of people buy goods and food, this is a kind of Bombay of local bottling, in the good sense of the word. This is the national flavor of the capital, its history and the present, I definitely recommend visiting both the market and Zhorny Ryad, where you can eat delicious food. Good luck to everyone.
It is a very atmospheric place, and at the same time it is grandiose. Friendly sellers are happy to treat you to everything they sell. While you're walking and trying, you can have a nice snack)
Charsu is not just a market, it is the history and heart of Tashkent. There are flea markets, food markets, and the purchase and sale of gold and silver. And most importantly, there is very tasty street food.
A very cool atmospheric place with a huge selection of everything: from products for every taste (which is especially valuable - a lot of local), to clothes and household items. I strongly recommend you to visit.

I do not recommend this place to anyone!!!The food is not delicious. It is better to eat anywhere else, but not here.Unsanitary conditions!!!The place is aimed only at tourists. There is no quality here.In the market, the price of everything is higher for tourists than for locals.Don't waste your time visiting it.
The only place in the city where you can bargain on food prices. The prices are high, but the food is high-quality and delicious. This is a great place mainly for tourists. Guests from abroad have the opportunity to get acquainted with dozens of types of our national dishes and try them at the same time.
It's really a very big market, you have to go and bargain. A large selection of different products, there is plenty to choose from. It is also very easy to get lost. There is a large selection of kebabs on the gluttonous rows, the price is reasonable. The compote is generally super. I also really liked Naryn and shish kebab...
The local colorful bazaar is more likely to be tourist-oriented. Beautiful interior, large selection of food, small selection of clothes, but inconvenient parking.
A wonderful place to buy fresh vegetables, fruits, meat, cheese and everything! Do not forget, however, to ask what is what - it is not obvious: if it seems to you that this is a ready-made sausage, then it may be a blank, etc. Much is exotic and may not have analogues in your homeland. Do not forget to bargain - this is normal and even welcome here!
The first thing we did when we arrived in Tashkent was to come to this market, there was no limit to my imagination, it was expensive, the cuisine was not delicious, and everyone was trying to slip something, there was not a pleasant sediment left, our products in Shymkent are cheaper
The oldest and main bazaar in Tashkent!
Visit the rows:vegetable, fruit, bread, dairy and many others...And after that, be sure to visit the so-called "Ovkat bozor", which means "Market of dishes" in Uzbek!!! Have a pleasant and informative walk around our Tashkent!!!
A good market with a huge selection of everything! There are also clothes, national dishes, knives from different craftsmen. There is a large food department, there is a place to eat.
Do you want to arrange a delicious trip to Chor Su Bazaar? Stroll through the bright, colorful rows of fruits and vegetables, tortillas, oriental sweets and spices, baked and fried dough products... The awesome smell, taste and aroma will not leave anyone indifferent... Come on in. Kelinlar!..
A colorful bazaar, there is a large pavilion with carpets (at prices from 5 to ......$). There is also a separate open-air food court. They mainly sell kebabs, khasyp, samsa, and other small things.
An interesting place. You can visit and have a meal once for show in your journey. We ate shish kebab very tasty, but I like the places more civilized..
A wonderful Oriental bazaar. You will find all the necessary fruits, vegetables, meat, oriental sweets, nuts, delicious tortillas, there are edible rows with ready-made delicious national cuisine.
