A small beautiful church with murals inside, next to the baptismal church. It is especially wonderful around the church in summer, various plants are planted in the well-kept garden. There is a playground on the territory of the temple.
Without delving into the question of how much you feel the presence of higher powers in this particular church, since it is individual for each visitor (for example, for me it is extremely majestic and, as they say, prayerful), I want to note that this is a temple of infinite beauty of the interior decoration. All the walls are covered with paintings. The Jerusalem fire is constantly burning in the lamp to the left of the altar. A very well-groomed area that pleases the eye in the summer with its flower beds (in one of the photos captured "angel bells") and a waterfall from which bees drink in the heat. Several graves of the ancient cemetery have been preserved. If we evaluate this architectural object from the point of view of the layman, then it represents both historical, cultural and religious value.
My daughter was baptized here, the most beloved Temple. Magnificent inside and an absolutely wonderful area around. We live a little far away, but we go here, peace and tranquility reign here.
It is a very cozy, sincere, pleasant temple. Conveniently located. Very beautiful from the inside. There is a well-groomed territory around, there is even a Playground. I liked it even more than the Cathedral of the Descent of the Holy Spirit, but this is already a matter of taste)
My favorite temple in Minsk! I recommend it to everyone!! Wonderful mother!!) The abbot's mother. He works in a candle shop -tent on the street. Everything will prompt and help!
A spiritual temple. Often, when I visit Minsk, I come here... I feel peace... The services are beautiful... From one of the exits from the territory of the church there is a gorgeous panoramic view, from the other, where the archway, soooo smells like bread from Bakery #2...
Heaven on earth. I know all the fathers. Kind and helpful.
And besides, it's a great playground.
There are relics of the ap. St. Andrew the First-Called, Equal-to-the-Apostles Mary Magdalene, the temple where there are quite a few new martyrs in the painting, Sergius of Talia, for example.
I really like it. Especially the priests and the children's area near the temple. Beautiful painting inside. There is Parking on weekdays it is difficult to park, because there is a bakery, a bank, a college nearby, and on weekends you can always find a place.
I've been driving by for many years and dreamed of visiting every time. And only this year it turned out for work. It's a very soulful place. Everything is well maintained, clean, there are Parking spaces. I want to come back more than once. There is an atmosphere of grace in the church itself. I highly recommend it
It's a beautiful place and the temple is very beautiful from the outside, I wasn't inside, I was in a hurry, I didn't want to go fussing. The white walls evoke a feeling of cleanliness and peace
The care of the rector of the temple is visible. Beautiful singing, a calm prayer atmosphere in the temple, a very cozy, well-groomed territory, visible care for families who came with children. I always want to come to this temple. Leaves a warm memory.
The grandson was baptized. I really liked the temple. A salted place. It was built in 1847. Very well maintained territory, 23.03. primroses bloomed. I advise everyone to visit this church.
The Orthodox complex (there are several temples). It has a long history. The territory is landscaped. The location is very picturesque, there are wonderful views from the bridge located nearby.
Convenient location, there is Parking and you will always find a place. the church itself is very quiet, peaceful even. There was no cash, but I ordered the service with the condition to bring it next week.a very positive and soothing place.
This is one of the most beautiful temples in Minsk (if not the most beautiful). And what services in the morning!!! The singers are simply magnificent!!!
I have been going to the Church of St. Mary Magdalene for 20 years, my daughter was baptized here. It is cozy, quiet, there is a small playground for children on the territory. It smells like bread, because there is a bakery next door and this makes it even more cozy.
A beautiful church with a fascinating history is located near the hotel "Belarus". In Soviet times, from 1949 to 1990, the State Archive of Cinema and Photo Documents of Belarus was located here. One of the Orthodox shrines of Minsk, a place of pilgrimage. I recommend visiting
It's just a piece of paradise. It resembles an oasis in the desert. The garden around the church has been cleaned and cultivated with great love, you can feel it. And all the staff is friendly. I want to come to this church. Peace be upon you!
A baby was baptized here. I probably don't quite know all the rules, but after giving birth, I was already at a cleansing prayer, and then without asking before the sacrament of baptism itself, they first invited me with a baby in my arms - the baby was afraid of the sudden movement of the priest when spraying with water and cried terribly all the sacrament that the prayers / words of the priest were not even heard. Although the baby is not one of the screaming ones, and I myself was hoping to hear prayers or even just an appeal to the godparents.
I was passing through Minsk. The architecture is striking in scale. But the temple is the place where everything is at home. A clean singing choir, warm from candles, clean and cozy.
I really liked it. We were in the summer. Fountains were working, roses were blooming. There is a playground for children. The church creates a benevolent mood, adjusts to a positive mood during prayer.
A wonderful place of peace. The temple of the middle of the 19th century, was restored in the 1990s. Now I like the cozy courtyard, such a variety of colors at the temple is a rarity, beautiful frescoes and icons inside.
An interesting Temple. There are always a lot of people on Sunday morning. There is a bridge over the road next to the Temple grounds, which offers beautiful views.
The child was baptized! Everything went very well, responsive and pleasant people! It's very beautiful, they allowed me to take pictures. We often come here!
Today, August 4, is the memorial day of Equal-to-the-Apostles Mary Magdalene. It's time to say a few words about the Minsk temple bearing her name. First of all, we note that the image of the saint is somewhat different between Orthodox and Catholics, which is noticeable in icons. In Orthodoxy, she is revered as a myrrh-bearer, whom Christ cured of seven demons. In the Catholic versions, the motives of the repentant harlot slip through, and she is often depicted with her head uncovered and her hair down. Anyway, it is with Mary Magdalene that the tradition of handing over an Easter egg with the words "Christ is Risen!" is associated. It was she who first presented the red-colored egg to Emperor Tiberius as proof of the Bright Resurrection... But back to the temple. It is located on the territory of the former Perespin pogost, better known to Minsk residents as Storozhevka. Nothing remains of the cemetery, except perhaps a few tombstones. And the temple itself hung by a thread when the current Storozhevskaya Street was designed between it and the Belarus Hotel in Soviet times. There are memorial plaques on the north wall of the temple. One reads: "Archpriest Peter Elenovsky, the builder of St. Mary Magdalene Church in 1847, was buried here. Eternal memory to him and the kingdom of heaven." Next to it is another: "The Church of the Holy Myrrh-Bearing Equal-to-the-Apostles Mary Magdalene was built in 1847. It was revived in 1990 by the works of Archpriest John Khoroshevich." Before the transfer to the faithful, the archive of film, photo and phonodocuments (BGAKFFD), which moved to Dzerzhinsk, was located here for a long time. The complex of the parish of Mary Magdalene today includes: Storozhevskaya Church, which has preserved its original appearance, the baptismal Holy Baptist Church, the chapel "In Memory of all Belarusian Saints", a monument to the 200th anniversary of the Minsk diocese, built with the blessing of Metropolitan Filaret of Minsk and Slutsk on June 13/26, 1993. The parish territory is lovingly maintained, fragrant with flowers and even got a pretty fountain. But a special grace, of course, is inside the temple, where, under the gaze of Mary Magdalene, you feel like a part of its history.
A small and cozy church.
It is not intended for a large number of people. Well-maintained territory. It is located almost in the center of the city, but it is located far from tourist routes, which makes it a quiet and pleasant place to visit.
A wonderful cozy temple. There are a lot of icons with relics. The Red Choir

A beautiful Orthodox Church in the city center, which is a must-visit. This is a place where there is no fuss, and the soul becomes easy and simple from touching holiness.
It is a very beautiful Temple. Everything is scheduled. Walls, ceiling. When you go inside. The soul is resting and rejoicing. I don't want to leave. It's great that there are places where you can relax your soul.
The atmosphere in the temple is very pleasant, the temple and the territory are very beautiful. And according to the prices for services, it is very humane.
