The Cathedral of the Resurrection of Christ remains a witness and a reminder of what Jesus Christ– the son of God, proclaimed with his whole life, death and resurrection! A person is born on earth and goes through the earthly path to ascend to the Kingdom of Truth, his Father, Creator, Creator. The kingdom of Truth and Perfection is called such because everything in it has the property of things as they should be, without any flaw, corruption, evil, distortion, or changes for the worse!
The Lord has shown everyone that a person is born forever and ever, but dies only temporarily, and the human body itself, the seat of the Holy Spirit, is equated to a Temple!
The Christian who follows the path inherits, as the son or daughter of God, the Kingdom of Heaven – the Kingdom of Truth, as well as the earth, which has subsequently changed beyond recognition.
The Creator Father created just such a life: the soul, the body, their union, the earthly life path, the struggle against evil and retribution for what he did after a temporary life for certainty in eternal life. The salvation and preservation of human souls is the most important thing for people and for God! Jesus Christ said God is the Spirit. Everything Spiritual, subtle, and pure is primary and worthy of eternity in itself!
All the Grace of the Holy Spirit!
The cathedral includes several relics. We were at Golgotha, where Christ was crucified.
At the Holy Sepulchre. And on the oilstone, which illuminates any thing. Be sure to take a guided tour. I would like to mention the guide Alexander, from Odessa, talks a lot, interestingly, with humor.
He'll show you the shops in the old town.
And it was here... Only in the hidden myth, as the famous writer Dina Rubina called Yerushalayim, one can feel that all this really happened and is possible, exactly as it is written in the Bible.
To hear the sound of flagellation on Golgotha, climbing a narrow staircase with high steps. They will touch ancient stones, light candles (in the Greek chapel they give out for free, unlike in the Armenian one), get into the Kuvuklia, see a Palestinian Christian at the gates of the temple, on a bench, who, according to legend, has the keys to the church of the Holy Sepulchre.
This is the most beautiful place I could visit! It's so hard to explain the emotions you get there that you can only understand it once you're in the temple itself!
A temple, a visit to which is unlikely to leave anyone indifferent! A place with an incredible atmosphere, where time slows down, where much ceases to be important and meaningful. The greatest Shrine and a place of special grace. It is a must for all Orthodox people to visit! It is best to visit in the morning, before many tourist groups arrive.
The most wonderful cathedral in the world! It feels like a Holy place and the main thing is that it absolutely keeps up with the times, there are no conventions that are present in the absolute majority of Orthodox churches, I felt free, even better than in a Church!
This year, for the first time since the visit, it is empty. On the one hand, it was a shock for me to visit all the places without queues and time limits, but on the other hand, the fact that the temple is empty is horrifying...All the world!

Everything is fine, except for the priests (priests in quotation marks).
They're annoying.
Well, it's basically the same as everywhere else, in Jerusalem and Moscow.
But I try not to mess with them.
If Yeshua the Christian had appeared now, he would have sent them too and rejected them.
A very strong place. It's worth getting ready and reading about it before you go. To know which route and what exactly to see in the complex of shrines. Or go for a few days, at least.
That was my dream! It has come true! An extraordinary and indescribable feeling of joy when visiting a blissful place ! Maybe in my life I will have such an opportunity to visit Jerusalem again! GOD willing!
I visit Israel every year, I definitely visit this holy place, after passing all the holy places, I become even better, kinder and try to ignore minor troubles, or rather, not to get too upset, live and enjoy every new day!
I am incredibly lucky in this life, because I was lucky enough to visit the Holy Land and visit this magnificent place of power. The Temple is of extraordinary beauty. It is very difficult to describe your feelings when you enter this Temple, you just need to visit it. I will definitely come back here.
Overall, very positive impressions. The atmosphere is conducive to thinking about great things. Everything is steeped in antiquity and the scent of mira. The history of the temple and its territory is unusual and multifaceted. I recommend being in the tour group, although I am not a fan of excursions and how they are presented by some "susanins", but there is something to listen to. Naturally, everyone has heard the story of the crucifixion and execution, but the subtleties and some interesting twists of history that accompany this place will be interesting to listen to and replenish your knowledge.
It is mandatory to visit, regardless of religion and religious beliefs, to all who came to Israel.
P.S. It is annoying only that all the local denominations have turned SUCH a place into a means to withdraw your cash. Brisk trade is going on almost on Golgotha itself, where Christ was crucified.
The main place for all Christians! This is a shrine that all Orthodox people dream of visiting. It is advisable to arrive early in the morning, before the groups of excursions and polonics are brought, or in the evening, when everyone has already left. There you will feel the strongest energy of this place. A must-visit!
The holiest place for any Christian! A place where the passage of time, thoughts and everything around stops... A place where everything that seemed so important to us before loses its importance and meaning in front of the greatest Shrine - the Holy Sepulchre and Golgotha! A place where the Savior gave His life in inhuman agony for the salvation of each of us!!!
It is impossible to describe your feelings when you cross the threshold of this temple. And although I've been there a hundred times, the sensations are indescribable, to the point of goosebumps. In 2013, we managed to see the descent of the Holy Fire. It seems that time has stopped....
I've been here more than once. And there is always one feeling – goosebumps. Despite the repeated destruction and subsequent restoration, the temple retains its energy. Every believer feels this. Of course, the mood with which you visit this place, the old city and Jerusalem is important.
There are always a lot of pilgrims, because there are many limits inside the Temple. There are not always pleasant situations, because this place is also a tourist attraction.
An absolutely amazing place! Especially when you get there early in the morning. Indeed, the greatest shrine in the Christian world.
When you get inside, you feel wonderful peace and quiet.
This place is steeped in history!
A great temple! It hits right in the brain! Unfortunately, we didn't manage to get everywhere - there are a lot of people. Pilgrims from all over the world. They are interesting. Especially some of them. The temple is being continuously repaired. We could have done it faster. And in general - an unforgettable feeling!
A unique place! Faith is really felt! When I entered this temple, I changed! It became easy on the soul and on the heart! I advise everyone to visit here.
It's just an indescribable feeling. after the disgusting passport control with all the humiliations that we went through, this temple gave us strength. Everyone helps, they took blessings from the priest, candles can be taken for free. I strongly advise you to go. Everything is so historical. It's like in another world
The holiest place for Christians, which has been sought by pilgrims from all over the world for 2000 years, and when I first came here, I immediately understood why.
Respect this shrine, behave like a pilgrim and not like a tourist.
This Grace must be felt
And a few words about the schedule of Worship in the Church of the Resurrection of the Lord:
The service takes place at midnight, and lasts for three hours. There is also a late one at 8 a.m. It is opposite Kuvuklia, and the first Orthodox Liturgy is in Kuvuklia!
The place of the Resurrection of Jesus Christ. A place of pilgrimage for millions and millions of people from all over the world. A place of special grace and holiness.
