A lot depends on the ministers of the church. There used to be a cheerful young priest there all the time, I don't remember his name, but I wanted to visit the church more often. They always came to all the holidays with children, and from the moment when the church was still being restored.,
Then an older father appeared.
The first is that there is some kind of negativity coming from him, the second is that on Palm Sunday last year, they refused to give us a piece of verbochka to a child without money.
Then, on Easter, it began to rain during the procession, and after walking one lap, they, the servants of the church, hid back in the church. This is the first time I've seen this in many years, so that because of the rain they didn't go around the church three times, so that they wouldn't finish the procession on Easter!
But it finally pushed me away when they wanted to baptize the children, but there were no insanely religious godparents who could fulfill all the conditions set before baptism. To which we were told that in order to baptize the children, we must regularly attend this church (and we work very hard, including on weekends to support the children, and our environment is the same) and we must take the parishioners of this church as godparents, not our loved ones! Or in general, literally: it would be better not to baptize them at all!
Naturally, even though we live nearby, there is no desire to enter this temple anymore. The children were baptized in another church. After all, faith should be in the soul, and not in showing off to the public, what kind of believer are you to achieve your goals?
