At the moment it is the only functioning church in Gomel. The second one is being built at the exit from Gomel along Rechitsky highway. The previous functioning Church of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary in Gomel was located on the site of the modern roadway in front of the Beltelecom fountain, was closed by the Bolsheviks in 1937 and completely destroyed in 1940.

A beautiful church. A combination of classical Empire style with Gothic. Inside it is simple, cozy and mentally calm 👍

I really liked the church, (I was there for work) the cleanliness in the hall and not only.I liked it, unfortunately there is nothing more to say....
