Very interesting productions, great acting. A diverse repertoire, a good building of the Soviet-built theater itself, but in need of repair. I liked it.
The building is gorgeous, there are a lot of spaces, the exhibits are unique, but there is a lack of some kind of interactive experience. Of the things that pleased me, I would like to note once again - large spaces, lots of air, and you don't crowd into small rooms at one booth.
The theater building is under renovation.
We attended the production in a small hall (about 100 seats arranged in a U-shape). The occupancy rate is full.
A small disadvantage is that the ticket office did not work, I had to buy paper tickets at the shopping center (25 minutes walk from the theater)
It's very cozy, everything happens a few steps away from the viewer.
The production price is 600 rubles per ticket.
The director was very surprised by the interesting performances, the troupe plays quite well. Ticket prices are disproportionately low.
I really liked the performances of the Dolls and the Master and Margarita.
The Queen of Spades did not enter
Champagne and sandwiches in the interval are great, regardless of the performance))))
So I bought 2 tickets online here. They come to the post office in electronic form. I'm opening, and the performance is in Novosibirsk! I couldn't believe my eyes! It turns out that on their website it was barely written "Tour, Novosibirsk" and that's how I should have realized that on the website of the theater, which is located in Kyrgyzstan, tickets for the performance in Novosibirsk are being sold! It's absurd! To all this, they told me - Well, you saw what it says "Tour"?
Then the question is, how the hell do you have tickets to a completely different theater in another country on the theater's website?
The money was not returned, 1600!
I will write and respond further! The amount is not large, the situation is insulting where they made a fool of me. It's not about money anymore, but about principle. It won't stay that way!
Interesting performances, the actors play great! The buffet is varied, pleasant staff. However, it's cool in winter, I can't imagine how the actors still walk barefoot or in light clothes
I was at the play "Dolls" today. I was very impressed! Last year I came to Bishkek after 26 years in St. Petersburg. She can be said to be spoiled by the theater with good productions. Therefore, it was very sad that performances of "consumer goods" were brought from Russia - below average. And when I got to this performance, I was very glad! Take care of such a wonderful artistic director!!! Today we definitely did not play for money, but from the heart and under the guidance of a professional!
The productions, the performances, the troupe - everything is at the highest level. It is always interesting, and the performances are well staged.
One thing is depressing - the state does not care about this theater and, unfortunately, this is reflected in its appearance. Maybe at least Rossotrudnichestvo paid attention and helped financially. I think in this case the theater would flourish!!
I was very upset by this theater. To say that it is dilapidated is to say nothing. The theater is just in ruins. I was at the play "Love and Doves". I didn't like the word at all. I admit that it is not in demand, so it has become obsolete. I definitely won't go there a second time and I won't advise anyone. At least until they make repairs and update the repertoire. It is a pity that the theater named after such a great man as Chingiz Aitmatov is like this.
Thank you that there is still a theater! Little attention is paid to such places...sadly. I hope they will make a decent repair here soon!!!
Kuklachev with cats was a great performance! Thanks!!
The Russian Drama Theater named after Chingiz Aitmatov is the largest drama theater in Kyrgyzstan. The best actors of the country, a comfortable theater hall with 628 seats, a spacious lobby, a cozy buffet and free parking.
It is wonderful that there is a Russian theater in Bishkek. I watched Gogol's "The Inspector" in a non-classical production on the malice of the day. I would really like the theater to be renovated, it is necessary there!
The project of the famous engineer Sabirzyanov Gayfulla Zarifovich.
His projects also include chimes in Bishkek, a monument at the entrance to the city from Manas Airport.
The monument is a ship on the way to Issyk-Kul.
