It's a wonderful place! The prices are average, maybe slightly higher than in other restaurants (taking into account the location on the territory of the fortress and the pleasant design of the place itself), but it did not hurt to enjoy the local food.
The food is delicious and of high quality, despite the fact that it is prepared relatively quickly. There are both first and second courses. An impressive selection of drinks: from simple to interesting.
The waiters are polite and friendly. The administrator is watching in the hall.
The atmosphere is pleasant. I liked it very much. One of the many reasons to return to the Brest fortress. I definitely recommend going in

In general, the kitchen is not bad, the atmosphere is wonderful, everything is clean and cozy. Without leaving the Brest fortress, you can take a break for lunch. But the truth is that the prices are appropriate, not to say that they are very high, but still it is impossible to call a budget snack here for sure.

An impressive historical tragic place that at the same time showed the unbreakable Russian spirit, which recognized the events of the past described by history. Tragedy and deception are intertwined here at the same time (the Germans are accused of non-aggression according to the pact), the innocent victims of the attack: women and children (many), and the courage of its defenders, their fighting spirit, the dedication of Soviet soldiers and officers, their will to win, in its defense in June-July 1941. The defense lasted 32 days and the last hotbed of resistance was suppressed on 07/23/1941. Time seems to have stopped here. Feelings and emotions are contradictory.
Of course, a lot has been restored, repaired and/or mothballed now, but this and the involved guide or something else will not allow us under any circumstances to fully experience and imagine what happened here and how. Only a part of the information became known and was restored. Reliable data on the number of surrendered, dead, and survivors have not been available to date, and it is probably no longer possible to establish. I would like such tragic cases and places not to be repeated/added, but ... (everyone has their own opinion on this matter).
It is necessary to visit a hotel in Brest.

A very good cafe. I emphasize: not a restaurant. The food is delicious, they cook for an average waiting time of 20-30 minutes. The waiters are attentive. I liked the food and drinks. There were no positions, but this did not overshadow the impression. From the wishes: when you order a set of snacks, you should bring plates for each visitor. We took a set and of course, as husband and wife, we can safely pick at a common plate, but it's worth providing plates for the company where everyone can put themselves a dranik or cabbage from the set. I also note that I saw a couple come to the cafe with a "claim to the restaurant", behaved defiantly and threw snobbish questions at the waiter. It was strange to see such baseless pathos in the CAFE. This is not a restaurant. It's delicious, cool, but it's a cafe. Be prepared that you will not be told what fattening pork is))

We visited when we were walking around the fortress. In fact, the only place where you can have a good meal. On Wednesday afternoon, we were the only ones that were a plus for us. We ordered borscht. They brought it quickly, it seemed that it was sour. But it's still delicious. Croutons are perfect for borscht. The staff is friendly, the interior is fortress-themed. The only thing for me is that the price tag is too high for the main dishes. But it's understandable, there are no competitors nearby 😊

We found the "Citadel" on the map, decided to stop by for lunch, as we walked around museums and fortresses all day, and there was a long road ahead of us. The menu is quite extensive, we chose local cuisine - pancakes and pork pancakes. To be honest, we did not expect that there would be such large portions) And the coolest thing was very tasty! Unfortunately, I overcame only 3 draniki out of 6, But we kindly agreed to put the remaining 3 draniki with us, put them in a bag and an additional one. in a paper bag. Brest Fortress is the main attraction of Brest, the memories of our grandfathers and great-grandfathers are still fresh. And if you open a restaurant, then you need to open it with respect to us, to visitors who care about history.
We came to the restaurant and were horrified. There are few tables, but we were lucky to get a table. Let there be dirty dishes on the table, but nothing, they sat down. The waiter is alone, you can understand. Then the menu was brought, very meager, I must say. You can't choose soup for a child. We started to choose, but the noise at the neighboring tables and the closed windows made it so incredibly stuffy that my head immediately ached. Other customers came up to the waiter, said they were waiting for half an hour to make an order? Is it okay? A small number of tables, stuffiness, service and its absence. While the banquet hall is large and there is no one there. We got up and left. If you are organizing a similar restaurant in such an iconic place, please do not compare people with pigs. Provide conditions for which it will not be a pity to pay even twice!

Thank you for feeding me quickly and inexpensively. But it was very stuffy and hot. There is no air conditioning. And half of the dishes on the menu are missing. What was available was delicious. I wouldn't go to this cafe on purpose. But considering its location and the fact that there is nowhere else to eat near the fortress, except to buy ice cream, I recommend it. There are nuggets, pancakes, and potatoes on the menu. T e children will definitely be fed

I visited this place, I was very hungry, and it was the last bulwark that could pull me out of the abyss of hunger. Looking at the menu, I saw quite pleasant prices, and being sure that I was having a nice, tasty and cheap meal now, I ordered Potatoes with herring, as well as BREAD. When the waiter brought me herring and potatoes, my indignation knew no bounds. I HAVE NOT SEEN SUCH AN ATTITUDE YET! 15 rubles for 3 PIECES of herring is something with something. It was as if the leftovers from the kitchen had just been swept into my plate. By the way, I didn't get any bread!!! They just forgot about him... But this position is paid for, and I ordered bread just for the herring. Horror. The indescribable horror. Besides, the potatoes were clearly not Belarusian. This is some kind of mockery. It is worth noting that on this wonderful day, there was a pleasant frost outside. My cheeks were red, and nothing like a pot of fragrant tea warms my heart and soul on a day like this. BUT, there was at most 2 cups of tea. WHAT IS THIS!!??!?? In general, I was very upset and unhappy. I feel like I've been spat on.

We were generally satisfied with everything. A pleasant waiter, Vladimir, took it quickly, brought it quickly. The first dishes were brought immediately, they were ready, apparently they didn't even have to be warmed up. The hot ones were given away after 10 minutes. The refrigerator is good, the hodgepodge is acceptable, I recommend pancakes with pork roast.
There was nothing interesting about the drinks, there was no kvass, there was only a choice of juices. Well, such a thing.
The price is even a little cheaper than in the city center, but it does not reach the restaurant level either.

There is no worse place to find, we came to the fortress for the whole day, we thought we would eat. At first, they waited a very long time for the table to be cleared, well, okay, the kid is running, trying.... Then there are problems with the menu - this is not there, and this is not there, and this is the problem... What is included in the hodgepodge? But I do not know. Is it possible without olives? No, we're not cooking. As a result, we ordered 2e solyagki and 2e portions of pancakes. It has been 20 minutes since we entered. After 15 minutes, they brought 1 solyagka without bread. I ate a little, I didn't eat in the morning, we waited another 15 minutes, canceled the order, paid for 1 hodgepodge and left. That took about 40 minutes and we went to eat shawarma at the railway station, where we were served like in the best restaurant

A very cozy cafe, located on the territory of the Brest fortress. It's the only one, so where to go for lunch was chosen unanimously. We didn't eat at this place, we were scared off by the nuggets on the menu and the prices of 15+ rubles for this. There is a feeling that only organized groups are fed on the territory of the fortress, because it is simply impossible to get into one institution from the street, and in the Citadel there is a horse price tag for what.
The menu is crumpled, the bar card is a crumpled copier. Guys, it's not 2007 anymore!
I recommend eating outside the fortress. Alas, so far there is only spiritual food!

The staff is friendly, professional, uniform: suit with vest, white shirt, bow tie -5*;
The cleanliness in the lobby, dining room, restroom is perfect -5*;
Thank you that the restaurant of such an iconic place as the Hero Fortress does not play entertainment music -5*;
