One of my favorite places in Minsk. A beautiful Town Hall, a square and all this near the water. It's a pleasure to be there on a beautiful warm day. And in the evening it all turns into a fairy tale!
A great place to walk, explore the history of the city and the country. There are not very many people, you can take a large number of beautiful city photos.
For me...personally...it doesn't represent anything interesting...but watching.how many excursions are taken to her...you're thinking...what's interesting about it?...
It is good at any time of the year. Spring, summer, a little autumn, a lot of events, concerts, exhibitions. Winter is a rest, but it's also great. There are a lot of interesting people and friendly meetings.
Another landmark of Freedom Square is the city hall. It was built after the Polish king and Prince of the Grand Duchy of Lithuania Alexander endowed Minsk residents with Magdeburg rights. The charter allowed the city to establish its own self-government body (magistrate) and build a town hall for it. Minsk residents received the right to private ownership of land, the opportunity to pay a single tax and create craft associations — workshops.
A beautiful place, both inside and out. There are excellent acoustics inside, if you get to a concert, you will have a lot of fun. There is also something to see and where to walk around the town hall
