The most suitable Downtown hotel for me. I lived in 3 others more expensive and cheaper, but the breakfasts were meager there. And this hotel has omelets, falafel, beans, bananas, yogurt, tea for breakfast. All the sights are nearby, parking is nearby (we took a car). The views of the balcony are different - we lived with a view of the museum (noisy) and with a view of the city (gas station, it's quieter there).
City view hotel
Convenient location, 5 minutes to the metro, 10-15 minutes to the intercity bus stop Go bus.
2 minutes to the Cairo Museum.
The breakfast is quite hearty, falafel, scrambled eggs, yogurt, fruits.
Very friendly staff, checked in earlier, we just stayed up all night on the bus, it was very helpful.
The room is small, we did not have enough sockets, the window overlooks a noisy street and is completely covered with shutters and curtains. It feels like a closet. However, we were already so tired that we didn't pay much attention. The bathroom was with a huge yellow stain, unpleasant of course.
If you are not staying at the hotel for a day, then it is tolerable. But I think for this money there are even better options nearby.
For some reason, they charge a commission for paying with a card. When I started to find out for what reason, if the booking issued an invoice, they said that OK, they would not take a commission.
